About the role
 
The Commis I assists the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and helps maintain a high standard &amp; quality of food preparation.
What you will do
 
Main Duties/Description:
Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions. Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie/Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them. Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen. Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively. Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times. Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Chef.

The Butcher &amp; Still Commis II assists the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of SAWA kitchen and helps maintain a high standard &amp; quality of food preparation.
What you will do
 
Main Duties/Description:
 
1. Prepares pastries/bakery items according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
 
2. Assists Chef de Partie/Demi chef de Partie/Commis I in establishing standard recipes and ensure the compliance with them.
 
3. Participates in product development and in controlling the smooth operation of the kitchen.
 
4. Have a good knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to carry out the duties and responsibilities for the position in an efficient and productive manner.

About the role
The Pastry &amp; Bakery Commis I assists the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of Pastry &amp; Bakery kitchen and helps maintain a high standard &amp; quality of food preparation.
What you will do
Main Duties/Description: 
 
1. Participates in the production of said items following the standards set by the Executive Pastry Chef.
 
2. Plans production for the pastry department according to the needs of the Hotel and Pastry &amp; Bakery kitchen.
 
3. Ensures the training and monitors the proper usage, maintenance and cleaning of all pastry equipment.
 
4. Ensures the requisition supplies and equipment and sees that they are delivered and properly stored.
 
5. Accepts full responsibility for managing any activity in the absence of the Demi Chef de Partie in a fast-paced high-quality operation.
 
6. Certified in Food Service Sanitation as available and to implement protocols.
 
7. Works closely with all chefs in relation to the food.
8. Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by the Executive Pastry Chef or Sous Chef.
