Job Description 
The Opportunity
The Student Enrollment and Data Operations Team is focused on ensuring that schools are fully enrolled so that students are free to create the future they want for themselves and their communities. The team supports this vision through application acquisition, family onboarding, cultivation, and persistence. The creative services manager position will reside within the marketing team and will manage the marketing team&rsquo;s print and digital creative outputs-from concept to on-time completion. Reporting to the senior director of marketing, this role works with the members of the marketing team, various KIPP Texas enrollment departments, and external vendors to ensure all stakeholders are working together to develop the strongest creative materials and brand presence possible in support of student and staff recruitment, New-to-KIPP enrollment, and student engagement and persistence.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Serve as primary creative design point of contact for the marketing team</li><li>
Manage the asset production queue and effectively communicate timelines and progress</li><li>
Ensure effective cross-functional communication between the marketing team and other teams throughout the organization (Student Recruitment, Talent Recruitment, New-To-KIPP Enrollment, School Operations, etc.)</li><li>
Champion our internal creative processes and effectively manage/utilize our project management software</li><li>
Build marketing concepts/visual products from written or verbal ideas</li><li>
Actively contribute to the creative process and creation of creative assets and ensure they are in-line with the approved marketing briefs, strategies, and goals</li><li>
Assist in execution of all collateral (not limited to flyers, billboards, brochures, digital ads, etc) by, contributing to and reinforcing brand guidelines and ensuring legal compliance</li><li>
Lead content marketing strategy, implementation and management of resources in partnership with marketing teammates</li><li>
Provide primarily graphic design and/or occasionally copywriting support on a variety of special projects</li><li>

 The Office of Public Affairs at Rice University is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient temporary 
 Production Designer 
 to support our Creative Services team. This is a part-time, project-based role focused on the high-level execution of brand assets, digital content, and print collateral.

In this role, you will manage a steady flow of diverse projects, ranging from brand identity maintenance to high-stakes production management. 
 
 
Design &amp; Brand Identity

<li> Identity Systems: 
 Design and typeset official &quot;lockup&quot; logos for schools, research institutes, and various campus partners, ensuring strict adherence to University brand standards.</li> 
<li>
 Digital Assets: 
 Execute technical production for social media graphics, email headers, and web banners for the Public Affairs teams.</li> 
<li>
 Print Collateral: 
 Prepare print-ready files for brochures, posters, event invitations, and environmental signage, ensuring correct color profiles, bleeds, and resolution.</li> 
<li>
 Quality Control: 
 Perform rigorous pre-flighting on all files to catch errors before they go to press or go live.</li> 
</ul>
 Additional Creative Support

<li> Template Creation: 
 Develop easy-to-use Canva or Adobe Express templates for campus partners to empower them to create brand-aligned content.</li>
