<p>
At Soho House, the <b>Bartender </b>is responsible for preparing alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, serving food and providing excellent service accompanied by memorable experiences to all guests and members who visit a Soho House &amp; Co. property. As a Bartender you are an extension of the brand, management team and global food and drink program. As a result, you will be responsible for professional behavior, charismatic and positive energy to create a fun environment that drives conversation and sales.</p>
<p>
A successful Bartender will greet customers, learn and remember their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. To succeed as a Soho House Bartender, you should have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable with a thirst for all things craft cocktails!</p>
<p><b>
Main Duties</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Follow steps of service and company guidelines for preparing cocktails, juices, coffee and drinks used at the bar</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized section as well as collaborate with other bartenders to; wash glassware and utensils after each use, Clean up after customers and clean work area</li>
<li>Educate guests and members about beverage options learned through House Tonic trainings</li>
<li>Discuss and describe daily specials, seasonally influenced menu items and food pairing options to promote additional sales through creating optimal experience for dining</li>
<li>Collect payment on all sold items and operate a cash register</li>
<li>Check identification of customers to make sure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products as well as determine when a customer has had too much alcohol</li>
<li>Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays that promote specific beverage options and can increase overall sales and member / guest experience</li>
<li>Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain an inventory of supplies and delegate replenishment of items to Barbacks</li>
<li>Mix ingredients according to drink recipes to maintain a globally unified beverage program and consistent experience</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Required Skills/Qualifications</b></p>
<ul>
<li>2+ years' experience working in high-volume F&amp;B operation</li>
<li>Craft cocktail experience and working with seasonally influenced perishable items</li>
<li>Experience making coffee drinks a plus</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and deliver drink requests in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining consistency</li>
<li>Strong communication and people skills</li>
<li>Flexible schedule and reliable</li>
<li>Tips certified</li>
<li>Micros a plus</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Physical Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.</li>
<li>Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.</li>
<li>Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others.</li>
<li>Must be able to move, pull, carry or lift at least 40 pounds.</li>
<li>Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.</li>

<p>The Computer Operator performs standard operational procedures and provides support services for internal and external users of the computers and peripheral equipment. The Computer Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of information and services in a multi-disciplined computing environment, including and monitoring application programs and systems utilities, and quality control.</p>

</ul><p>Representative Job Duties</p>
<ul><li>Monitor the status of computer rooms and perform physical checks to ensure safe and continued operation of equipment such as HVAC. Monitor temperature and humidity levels to prevent adverse environmental impact to major systems. Monitor the operation of services, including computers, printers, networks, and phone systems, identify service irregularities and equipment failures. Execute standard operating procedures or contact support staff when conditions warrant action.</li>
<li>Record observations, respond to issues as they occur, and execute standard operating procedures. Contact support staff when conditions warrant action</li>
<li>Execute procedures for managing offsite tape handling following standard procedures and maintain security of password lists and key.</li>
<li>Patrol remote campus locations and complete security checks, monitor and maintain status of equipment and resolve issues as needed.</li>
<li>Provide customer support including, handle and distribute printer and plotter output, install and remove equipment from computer rooms, rebooting servers or executing specific procedures on equipment, respond to phone and e-mail inquiries, assess the nature of reported problems, and execute standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain VCC, CII and remote computer supply areas, receive deliveries, put away supplies, complete necessary paperwork according to policies and procedures and notify supervisor of low supply levels to ensure appropriate levels are available.</li>
<li>Update and provide documentation regarding systems and store relevant data according to established procedures into operations database(s).</li>
 <li>Promote building and lab security by following walk through and lockup procedures. -</li>
<li>Participate in processes to improve operational activities.</li>
<li>Maintain appropriate practices to ensure confidentially and security of data, especially with the regards to mandated requirements (i.e. FERPA, HIPPA, PCI, etc.)</li>

<p><b>Expected hiring range:</b> $18.00 per hour ($0.75 hourly differential)</p>
