What you&rsquo;ll work on</h2>
Every day is different, but here&rsquo;s an example of the kind of things you&rsquo;ll work on:
<ul><li>Identifying trends &ndash; You&rsquo;ll regularly find trends by speaking to the market and backing those findings with data</li><li>
Feature writing &ndash; You&rsquo;ll identify emerging trends in issuance, pricing, structuring, and investor activity with monthly long form data trend pieces</li><li>
Monitoring markets &ndash; You&rsquo;ll expand your knowledge and connect the dots with the wider debt market to collaborate with colleagues across verticals in distressed debt, leveraged finance, and private credit.</li><li>
Maintaining databases &ndash; You&rsquo;ll work closely with the CLO data team to source private information from the market and contribute in expansions to new datasets.</li><li>
Generate ideas and deliver clear, concise reporting under deadline pressure</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
About You</h2>
This role will be a great fit if you:<ul><li>
Experienced &ndash; 2+ years of experience in financial journalism. Experience with structured credit or debt capital markets is a strong positive but not essential.</li><li>
Personable &ndash; A natural ability to connect with a wide range of sophisticated market participants. Confident in engaging senior investors, bankers, and asset managers</li><li>
Driven &mdash; Endlessly curious, self-motivated, and passionate about doing a good job</li><li>
Organised &mdash; Able to maintain a deep network of sources, stay on top of story pipeline, and deadlines</li><li>
Communicative &mdash; Clear and concise in your written and verbal language, and able to explain complex ideas in simple terms</li><li>
Analytical - Comfortable handling large datasets to help draw conclusions, and have a proficiency in excel and PowerBI</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
