Work Location &amp; Leadership Presence

NYGC recognizes the value of workplace flexibility while fostering a highly collaborative, team-oriented scientific environment. As a member of the Executive Management Team, the Vice President, Genome Technologies is expected to maintain a regular on-site presence to provide visible leadership, strengthen collaboration, and support organizational culture. 


The successful candidate is expected to work on-site at least four (4) days per week, with limited remote work flexibility subject to approval by the Scientific Director &amp; CEO. The pay range for this position is $270,000-350,000 per year; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

About the New York Genome Center

The New York Genome Center (NYGC) is an independent, nonprofit, academic research organization dedicated to advancing genomic research. NYGC scientists and staff are furthering new approaches to diagnosing and treating neurological diseases and cancer through their unique capabilities in whole genome sequencing, RNA sequencing, state-of-the art analytics, and the development of genomic tools. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $120,000 and $200,000 per year for Associate, and between $140,000 and $250,000 per year for VP, at the commencement of employment.
