CBS Newspath is seeking a Producer with a strong commitment to journalism to help coordinate news production and newsgathering operations for its North Regional team. This position helps manage the network's response to breaking news and responds to video and editorial requests from CBS broadcasts, owned stations, affiliates and clients. Excellent people/customer service skills are required. The Producer is also responsible for clipping and publishing video and scripts and assisting in the transmission and distribution of live video, edited video and correspondent packages.</p><p></p><p><br>
The candidate must have experience in working with sources to confirm and verify facts and video elements, especially during breaking news.</p><p></p><p><br>
The person in this position will work directly with stations/affiliates in the Northeast and Midwest parts of the United States, including New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, and Illinois. A strong knowledge of weather, politics, the economy, and other topics that impact this region is required.</p><p></p><p><br>
Candidate must be familiar with all major social media platforms and vehicles for engaging audiences on a digital level. This includes - but is not limited to - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Part of this position&rsquo;s editorial responsibilities is to be able to spot viral and pre-trending content and turn it around for our brand. You must be well-versed in the feel and best practices for social-friendly videos (including rights &amp; clearances).</p><p></p><p><br>

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE</p><ul><li>3 years local and/or network TV news experience or show producer experience preferred.</li><li>Requires strong editorial judgement &amp; excellent writing skills.</li><li>Strong editing skills a must. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies.  Front Office Sports is seeking a Producer to join our growing Multimedia team. This role will be instrumental in bringing to life premium, editorial-first storytelling for partners across our ecosystem&mdash;spanning social, video, YouTube, and on-site experiences.

 The ideal candidate is a hands-on, end-to-end producer who thrives in a fast-paced, digital-first environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of production. This role requires a deep understanding of how to craft compelling narratives that live at the intersection of sports, business, and culture, while seamlessly integrating brand partners in an authentic, non-intrusive way.
