ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event. Working collaboratively with our Dining Room Coordinator and other Dining Room Servers, you will provide hands-on table service and assist with special event meal service in our Assisted Living community. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience</li><li>
Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner</li><li>
Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy</li><li>
Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments and beverages are always ready</li><li>
Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness of Dining Room and assigned tables ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal</li></ul> 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>
Must be at least 16 years of age</li><li>
Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English</li><li>
Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed</li><li>
Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members</li><li>
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality oriented position</li><li>
Knowledge of dining etiquette and prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred</li><li>
