 We are seeking a Director of Engineering, Manufacturing to own all manufacturing at Inversion. This leader will be responsible for the full manufacturing ecosystem across the company &mdash; including precision machining, harnessing, mechanical assembly, and parachute systems.
 
 
 You will build and scale a world-class aerospace manufacturing organization that is efficient, cost-effective, quality-driven, and capable of supporting flight hardware at increasing production rates.

The Opportunity
We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Instrumentation &amp; Controls Plant Engineer who will be the site&rsquo;s highest-level technical subject matter expert (SM) for the site&rsquo;s instrumentation program.
Pre-Startup:
During the plant start-up project you will be on the User Team and be accountable for establishing the site&rsquo;s foundational calibration strategy and program. In partnership with Project Engineering and the start-up project (user) team you will partner and collaborate with our partner site organizations (Engineering and MSAT, Quality, Supply Chain, Technical Development, Regulatory, CMO, Strategy) to provide expertise in project management and technical design, testing, qualification, validation, as well as all other activities related to design and start-up a new Drug Product Fill and Finish facility with a focused lens on instrumentation.

What You'll Do<ul><li>

About the Role</h1>
Apex is looking for a Lead Mechanisms and Actuators Engineer to support our current and next generation satellites. This person will own the design, development, and delivery of flight-critical spacecraft mechanisms from concept through on orbit operation. This role will drive architecture, analysis, hardware execution, and cross functional integration for mechanisms including deployables, actuators, and precision moving assemblies.
You will operate with high ownership, leading complex hardware programs while partnering closely with electrical, avionics, structures, and manufacturing teams to deliver reliable, production-ready systems at scale.
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Own end-to-end design of spacecraft mechanisms (actuators, deployables, moving assemblies) from concept through flight, including architecture, requirements, CAD, drawings, and specifications</li><li>

THE OPPORTUNITY

Silvus is seeking a Director of Business Development, United States Marine Corps (USMC) who will report to the Vice President of Strategic Growth on the Business Development team. The successful individual in this role will lead Silvus' efforts to identify, shape, and capture opportunities within the United States Marine Corps (USMC) domain. The Director of Business Development, USMC will build deep and wide relationships with all buying influences (end-user, OEM, prime, reseller, PM offices) to influence capability requirements towards Silvus solutions and capture large, long-cycle programs.

This position is eligible for 100% remote work depending on location. Candidates must be based in the continental United States in order to be eligible for remote work.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Strategy and Development

<li>Develop and execute a comprehensive United States Marine Corps (USMC) business strategy addressing near-term and emerging opportunities across Department of Defense (DoD) and Allied customers.</li>
<li>Define market segments, growth drivers, procurement pathways, and competitive positioning within the broader EW ecosystem.</li>
<li>Partner with the Product Management and Engineering teams to align customer needs with Silvus' evolving portfolio of RF and networking technologies.</li>
<li>Maintain awareness of Force Design and related modernization initiatives to anticipate demand and guide long-term planning.</li>
</ul>
Customer Engagement and Capture
<ul>
<li>Establish and expand relationships with Program Offices, PEOs, and Prime Contractors active in the EW and spectrum-operations community.</li>
<li>Lead opportunity identification, qualification, and capture planning in collaboration with internal technical and program teams.</li>
<li>Represent Silvus at industry events, trade shows, and government forums to strengthen visibility within the USMC community.</li>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

<li>High School Diploma or GED.</li>
<li>Minimum 10 + years of experience in business development, capture management, or program management within the defense or aerospace sectors; or 8 years with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; or 6 years with an advanced degree.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in defense sales or business development, specifically focused on the US Marine Corp.</li>
<li>Proven track record of capturing complex, long-cycle DoD programs (Programs of Record).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, contract vehicles (IDIQ, OTA, BPA), and FAR/DFARS compliance.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience building relationships within USMC Acquisition offices and with relevant prime contractors.</li>
<li>Experience leading all phases of business capture (whitepapers, proposals, RFI/RFP response, teaming, strategic positioning).</li>
<li>Practical understanding of product development, technology transitioning, and marketing/product planning for US military applications.</li>
<li>Knowledge of conducting and directing competitive product analysis using market research techniques and a solid technical understanding of service/agency needs and requirements.</li>

<li>Deep familiarity with USMC organizational structure, acquisition processes, and capability development lifecycle.</li>
