POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Director of Large Scale Regional Sales (East Coast) to lead and develop a regional sales team responsible for achieving both team and individual revenue targets across the East Coast territory. This position owns all sales-related decisions within the region, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and driving consistent execution across utility-scale solar and energy storage solutions. The Director of Large Scale Regional Sales (East Coast) serves as a critical link between the regional team and SMA America by fostering communication, accountability, and high performance.

This role reports directly to the VP of Large Scale Sales and follows a fully remote work model. Candidates must be based in or have deep market familiarity with the East Coast region.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Sales Leadership
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute the regional go-to-market strategy for utility-scale solar solutions including hardware, EPC, project development, and full-scope services across the East Coast territory</li>
<li>Own quarterly and annual sales targets across the region</li>
<li>Drive strategic engagement with key accounts including utilities, IPPs, developers, and EPC firms</li>
<li>Oversee the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and contract execution</li>
<li>Support the team in navigating complex utility-scale project sales including multi-party negotiations</li>
</ul>
Team Management and Development
<ul>
<li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of regional sales professionals, conduct regular performance reviews, and support professional development plans</li>
<li>Set clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations for direct reports</li>
<li>Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative sales culture</li>
</ul>
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Market Intelligence
<ul>
<li>Ensure CRM (Salesforce) is accurately maintained with up-to-date pipeline data</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Service, and Project Management to ensure customer requirements are met</li>
<li>Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to inform product roadmap and strategy</li>
<li>Stay abreast of regional market trends, regulatory developments, RFP opportunities, and competitor activity</li>
<li>Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as a regional thought leader</li>

</ul>
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or equivalent experience required</li>
<li>Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in utility-scale solar or renewable energy</li>
<li>Minimum 2 years of experience leading and mentoring successful sales teams</li>
<li>Proven track record managing large, complex customers in cross-functional matrix environments with lengthy design, qualification, and project sales cycles across multiple decision-makers</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of the solar industry including both PV and energy storage</li>
<li>Deep understanding of utility-scale project development cycles, PPAs, grid interconnection, and capital structures</li>
<li>Experience developing and executing business models and selling to executive-level clients</li>
<li>Experience understanding financial models and customer financial decision-making criteria</li>
<li>Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce or equivalent CRM</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English</li>
<li>Willingness to travel regionally 30 to 50%</li>

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site concrete construction activities. The Concrete Superintendent works closely with project management, subcontractors, and field personnel to deliver high-quality concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:

About The Opportunity
Grubhub&rsquo;s Corporate Accounts team empowers companies to master one of their most overlooked spend categories: food. We provide a centralized platform for everything from individual meals to large-scale catering, backed by reliable delivery and consolidated billing. As part of the Sales organization, the Onboarding team is responsible for driving rapid platform adoption and managing critical order triage for new accounts.
As the Onboarding leader, you will be in a player / coach role. You will spend 50-75% of your time as a Player working directly with our highest value customers (10+ hours of customer calls / zooms per week). You will spend 25-50% of your time managing a small team and serving as the strategic architect of the client journey. We are building this function from the ground up and you will be responsible for designing journeys, metrics, processes and dashboards that create an effective onboarding flow. The ED will work from Reading Partners' regional offices 1-3 times per week to lead regional strategy, operations, and team engagement.
What you&rsquo;ll do:
The primary responsibilities of the Executive Director are to:
Lead and manage the NYC Staff and AmeriCorps members toward highly successful program implementation, community engagement, and financial targets. Oversee growth strategy and all regional business operations.<ul><li>
Help determine and achieve programmatic and other goals aligned with the regional and national strategic plans:<ul><li>

Partner with the regional team to drive resources (both funds and volunteers) to the region.</li><li>
Collaborate with other executive directors and members of the national team to develop and implement a system for sharing resources and best practices across all Reading Partners locations.</li><li>
Oversee the recruitment, selection, coaching, management, and support for up to 80 Reading Partners AmeriCorps members toward successful program implementation across all NYC partner schools and organizations.</li></ul>

Support the sustainability and growth of Powered by Reading Partners (Collective Impact) programming, whereby the regional team trains program delivery partners to deliver tutoring and family engagement beyond the school day.

Build and grow relationships with school district-level leaders to ensure Reading Partners&rsquo; success as an evidence-based literacy program that is proven to help students learn to read.</li><li>
Support Reading Partners&rsquo; role in the policy dialogue around literacy, education, and national service.</li><li>
Increase organizational visibility and profile in local media markets through the successful creation and implementation of a regional communications plan.</li><li>
Serve as the primary local public spokesperson for Reading Partners, acting as the public face of the organization within the region.</li><li>
Develop strategic partnerships to support Reading Partners&rsquo; community engagement and volunteer recruitment efforts.</li></ul>

Compensation: This is a full-time, exempt, and salaried position. The pay range for this position is $127,547 - $170,063 per year.
