  The Video and Audio Editor, Wellness plays a key role in shaping CNN&rsquo;s emerging Wellness vertical through compelling, short-form video and audio storytelling. Working closely with producers and creative partners, this editor will help define the look, feel, and editorial voice of wellness content across CNN&rsquo;s proprietary platforms and social channels.

  This role is ideal for a highly creative editor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of vertical and social-first storytelling, and is excited to help build something new from the ground up.
  <br/>

  Your Role Accountabilities&hellip;
  <br/>
  <br/>
  Edit engaging short-form video content for CNN&rsquo;s proprietary platforms and social media channels, with a strong emphasis on vertical formats
  <br/>
  Craft compelling hooks and clear, emotionally resonant storytelling within tight timelines
  <br/>
  Design and integrate captions, motion graphics, sound effects, and music to enhance narrative and accessibility
  <br/>
  Follow established brand standards while actively contributing ideas to help define and evolve the visual identity of CNN Wellness
  <br/>
  Repurpose longer-form video, audio, and editorial content into concise, high-impact short-form iterations
  <br/>
  Collaborate closely with producers and team members, incorporating feedback quickly and thoughtfully
  <br/>
  Stay current on social media trends, platform best practices, and emerging editing styles, with a strong point of view on what makes content stand out
  <br/>
  Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting fast-paced production deadlines
  <br/>

  Qualifications &amp; Experience&hellip;
  <br/>
  <br/>
  5+ years of demonstrated professional experience in video editing, including significant experience creating content for social and digital platforms
  <br/>
  Experience editing podcasts or audio-only content
  <br/>
  Proficiency in industry-standard editing tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar software
  <br/>
  Strong understanding of short-form storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement
  <br/>
  Working knowledge of color correction and audio mixing best practices
  <br/>
  Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and receive feedback constructively
  <br/>
  Collaborative mindset with a genuine enthusiasm for working as part of a creative team
  <br/>

  Nice to Have:

  Motion graphics experience, particularly in After Effects or similar tools
