As an Employee Services Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the office by assisting with various administrative, clerical and operational tasks. You will contribute to creating a safe, clean, and organized environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Roles and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Greet visitors, make sure they sign in, and go through a safety orientation.</li><li>
Perform the opening and closing protocols.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and organized main reception area.</li><li>
Re-stock kitchen supplies, maintain a clean working office environment, and assist with break-room cleanliness and organization.</li><li>
Assist employees as needed and address facility-related requests.</li><li>
Monitor and replenish office supplies, kitchen supplies, and office consumables.</li><li>
Keep track of spending for all facility consumables.</li><li>
Provide administrative support to the executive team, including scheduling meetings, creating expense reports, preparing documentation, routing documents for signatures, mailing or faxing documents, and keeping offices tidy.</li><li>
Keep track of company accounts and processes for shipping and employee requests, etc.</li><li>
Accept packages, mail and acknowledge the receipt of them to the purchaser. Deliver packages as needed.</li><li>
Support safety protocols by identifying and addressing potential hazards, ensuring emergency exits are clear, and participating in safety drills.</li><li>
Assist in setting up and arranging furniture, equipment, and materials for meetings, events, or workspace changes.</li><li>
Maintain records of office and kitchen supplies, purchasing, maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory levels.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable.</li><li>
Works together with Safety and IT to ensure employees' seating arrangements in the office are presentable.</li><li>

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Summary:
 
 
 
 The Resident Medical Advocate works under the direct supervision of the Assistant Facility Director - Programs. Participates in the implementation and evaluation of the residents&rsquo; healthcare needs. This position provides medical advocacy consistent with security procedures and the mission of the facility.
 
 
 
 Primary Duties And Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 The Resident Medical Advocate conducts medical screening on all offenders upon arrival at the facility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducts education for residents with diabetes and other chronic illnesses.
 </li>
 <li>
 The Resident Medical Advocate makes referrals to hospitals and clinics
 </li>
 <li>
 Assists residents with filling weekly pill boxes for self-administration of prescription medications
 </li>
 <li>
 The Resident Medical Advocate approves &ldquo;Keep On Person&rdquo; (KOP) list of medications for facility.
 </li>
 <li>
 Approves Emergency Medical Plans and other Emergency Action Plans, as applicable.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provides training to medical technicians and all employees responsible for supervising residents in self-administration of medication; provides oversight for the entire self-administration of medication process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Evaluates assesses, and determines the potential need and condition of required first aid supplies; fills and checks first aid kits as necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Serves as point of contact for City Health Department concerning residents suspected of having a communicable disease.
 </li>
 <li>
 Screens and clears residents to work in food service.
 </li>
 <li>
 Destroys and properly disposes of all needles, syringes and biohazard waste.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepares regularly scheduled reports and special reports as necessary.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintains confidentiality of medical records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 Minimum Requirements:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Must have a current, unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state the facility is located. Maintains a current copy of license on file at the facility at all times.
 </li>
 <li>
 Two (2) years of direct work experience preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must possess competence in the performance of the following services: crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical assessment, medical nursing care, and psychiatric nursing care.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have the ability to work without direct, immediate supervision in performing nursing assessments, and be able provide appropriate follow through treatment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. 

$47,300 - $61,800 per year 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
