Job Description</b></h2>

The <b>Sales Trainee Representative (STR)</b> program is designed to build a strong pipeline of future sales and marketing professionals within the Medical Systems Group (MSG) by developing recent college graduates early in their careers.</p>
<p>
STRs will officially report to the <b>Regional Vice President (RVP)</b> and will receive structured development and mentoring from the RVP, <b>Executive Account Manager (EAM)</b>, and <b>Executive Leadership Program (ELP)</b> members. ELP members will serve as mentors to the trainees, gaining valuable coaching and leadership experience in the process. Collectively, this leadership team will provide the guidance, training, and support necessary for STRs to advance their sales and marketing careers at <b>Olympus Corporation of the Americas</b>.</p>
<p>
The STR program spans <b>18 months</b>, during which trainees will receive hands-on development through the Sales Training Department and Field Sales Trainers. STRs will be assigned to a field-based territory and aligned with a specific regional sales team. The majority of training will take place in the field, working closely with the assigned EAM and RVP.</p>

Job Duties</b></h2>
</div><div><ul><li>Completing virtual and classroom training curriculum, inclusive of: sales process training, clinical training, business acumen training and medical device product training.</li>
<li>Assisting with demos and installations.</li>
<li>Staffing in services and case support.</li>
<li>Uncovering and developing additional needs in key accounts to expand our portfolio.</li>
<li>Promoting new product launches and helping maintain current business.</li>
<li>Assisting in maintaining, managing, and developing the Olympus service business.</li>
<li>Assisting with contract maintenance, including lease turnovers, service contract assistance, and leveraged agreement management.</li>
