<ul><li>Promptly complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including the number of guests and room rates. Make an appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs. Code electronic keys. Nonverbally confirm the room number and rate. Provide welcome folders containing room keys, certificates, and coupons as appropriate. Closeout guest accounts at the time of check out. In the event of dissatisfaction, negotiate a compromise, which may include authorizing revenue allowance. Requires standing and continual mobility throughout the front office area.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Promptly answer the telephone using a positive and clear English language. Input messages into the computer. Retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guest. Retrieve mail, small packages, and facsimiles for customers as requested.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manage Third Party Internet billing and arrivals. Prepare group arrivals. Prepare pre-arrival packets as requested/required. Anticipate the flow of arrivals and take necessary steps to ensure smooth check-in/out.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Train new agents in daily duties including cash handling procedures, use of CRM Toolbox, organization of the hotel. Ensure compliance with all brand standards. Coordinate and track successful completion of training on the PMS system.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Monitor and track the time and attendance of associates. Reinforce attendance policy with staff; recommend progressive discipline procedures for associates who are not in compliance with the standard.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Take actions to ensure high Associate Satisfaction scores as measured by the Associate Opinion Survey. Work with other supervisory and management staff to address all areas to ensure a consistent quality work environment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists other Front Desk Personnel when need.</li></ul>

<div>To inspect and maintain the cleanliness and physical condition of the hotel guest rooms, meeting rooms, hallways and public areas.</div>

<div><b>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</b></div>

<div>1. Prepare inspection report with the status of all guest rooms at the beginning of the shift. This includes all guest requests, out of order rooms, and show rooms for the day.</div>
<div>2. Inspect guest rooms to ensure housekeeping standards are achieved according to standards set forth by hotel management.</div>
<div>3. Inspect VIP rooms and ensure they are provided with appropriate amenities and services.</div>
<div>4. Report any substandard conditions of the guest room to the Housekeeping Director.</div>
<div>5. Report any damage or problems with the guest room and room equipment using a Maintenance work order and routing the work order to the Maintenance department.</div>
<div>6. Evaluate Room attendants on their job performance according to the hotel standards. When necessary, take appropriate action (retraining, etc.) to ensure that their job performance is at a high-quality level.</div>
<div>7. Inspect and evaluate physical condition of the hotel's public spaces daily for cleanliness and necessary repairs.</div>
<div>8. Encourage a positive attitude among employees and treats guests and fellow employees with courtesy and respect.</div>
<div>9. Works to expedite tight turns when early arrivals are communicated from Front Desk and/or Housekeeping Management</div>
<div>10. Communicate to the Front Desk all vacant and clean rooms, the completion of guest requests, and room status discrepancies. The Front Desk will give the Supervisor all room moves, late check-outs, and additional guest requests for appropriate follow-up action by the Supervisor.</div>
<div>11. Answer the Housekeeping department's telephone using friendly and proper telephone techniques. The Supervisor will help with calling of guests with special requests, information, and status of Lost &amp; Found items.</div>
<div>12. Interact with the hotel's guests in a friendly, positive manner as a solution to their needs and/or problems. The Supervisor will often act as a liaison between the guest and the room cleaner.</div>
<div>13. Check the hotel's PMS computer for information concerning room status and to enter updated room status.</div>
<div>14. Continuous training and development of Room Attendants</div>
<div>15. Report equipment problems to Office Coordinator.</div>
<div>16. Train on daily LQA standards as set by the Director of Housekeeping</div>
<div>17. Inspect all PM rooms when completed</div>

<div>19. Follow OSHA and hotel guideline for the safe handling of all housekeeping chemicals and equipment.</div>

<div>21. Follow the practice of all fire safety standards and procedures for the Hotel and the Housekeeping department.</div>
