Position Summary
The Host at Nubeluz plays an integral role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience. Requirements:

Skills &amp; Conditions<ul><li>
1 year full-service, high-volume restaurant experience in a host position.</li><li>
Open availability a must: minimum of 3 days per week, including weekends and holidays, with flexibility.</li><li>
Passion for hospitality, guest engagement, and serving others.</li><li>
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.</li><li>
May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. occasionally.</li><li>
Previous experience with restaurant point-of-sales (POS) systems.</li><li>
Strong understanding of communication skills to build trusting relationships with colleagues and guests.</li><li>
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure.</li><li>
A yearning to grow and learn.</li><li>
Have a strong work ethic while leading by example.</li><li>
A basic understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails.</li><li>

<div>The Host is the first and last point of contact with the guest and is responsible for greeting, seating and saying goodbye to guests as well as maintaining the flow of the restaurant during service. They will also take and confirm reservations over the phone, retrieve messages and return phone calls in a clear, concise and accurate manner.

 Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Host to be based in The Fulton! Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for welcoming/greeting guests to the restaurant and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. The Host duties include maintaining a waitlist of guests during service, distributing menus, confirming restaurant contact information to guests, accepting phone calls, making and adjusting reservations, as well as working with the service team to ensure the restaurant is seated in a timely and efficient manner.
