 We are looking for a Freelance Graphic Designer Apparel for a top fashion company in New York City. You will work within womens apparel, sleepwear and intimates implement the category leader's direction in all aspects of the design process, from initial concept stage to presentation, to development and execution of the final product. This position will be located on site 3 days in the New York office and 2 days/week working remotely.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 <ul>

 Design main body of graphics for all products including tops, bottoms, activewear, athleisure, fleece, intimates, sleepwear and loungewear.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create Brand graphics that remain true to our heritage
 </li>
 <li>
 Delivering newness and Innovation is key. Elevate the brand aesthetic by delivering on trend fashion graphics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Organize and own seasonal assortment of graphics for chain/web/international needs
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with Production team on graphic scale, placement and print quality
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with Design/ Concept teams to establish direction and interpret into artwork appropriate for brand
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide production ready artwork, in both print and electronic format, for internal and external partners
 </li>
 <li>
 Work with junior team members to maintain library
 </li>
 <li>
 Research and create new trends in graphic design and production techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create graphic design concepts and board presentation for each season.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate on seasonal rig and provide graphic direction.

 Draw and illustrate main body of graphics for all products

 Manage and provide art direction for direct reports with graphic scale, concept and placement.

 Organize all graphics by season and concept
 </li>

 Develop Linesheet and color scheme for each seasons table and wall graphic tee program

 Required Qualifications:

 Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education).
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in Apparel.
 </li>
 <li>
 4+ years related experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Keen eye for color, trend and detail
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to multi-task and prioritize based on business objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop/Indesign)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to translate trends into brand's handwriting through a customer lens
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to act as liaison between many departments, excellent communication, and analytic skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be detail oriented, computer literate and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
