Authentic is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join its Creative team. Working collaboratively with the VP, Creative Director, you will assist in the design, execution, and maintenance of creative assets across multiple channels, ensuring brand consistency and alignment. This role offers hands-on experience for a designer eager to develop their craft within a dynamic and fast-paced brand environment.</p>

<li>Create engaging pitch decks and presentations for marketing, new business, and category expansion, using strong layout and impactful storytelling</li>
<li>Design print and digital assets across packaging, signage, event materials, and POP displays, ensuring strong visuals and alignment with brand standards.</li>
<li>Adapt and translate existing layouts for use across brand extensions, product development, and retail needs, tailoring designs to suit different placements and audiences.</li>
<li>Collaborate with Creative Director to develop campaign and brand assets, including advertisements, logos, in-store visuals, and in-house materials like brand books, style guides, and more.</li>
<li>Assist with seasonal brand updates, and maintenance of brand assets and creative libraries.</li>
<li>Incorporate AI-driven creative tools into the development of pitch materials and visual assets, supporting innovative storytelling and streamlined production workflows.</li>

 This internship will provide insights into hands-on 3D design work and conceptual visual storytelling that ensures experiential projects meet design and creative standards across the agency.  This team is based in the New York office and works in a hybrid fashion with in-office work on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. We are looking for candidates who can join us in NYC!

  Responsibilities
  <br/>
  <br/>
 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Execute environmental design tasks on assigned projects including creative conception (mood boards), floor plans, renderings, environmental graphics and construction/technical documentation
  </li>
  <li>
   Understand design systems and can adhere and iterate from them
  </li>
  <li>
   Help ensure visual and tonal fidelity to all brand guidelines and associated properties through environmental design
  </li>
  <li>
   Join meetings with outside vendors (e.g. animators, lighting designers, sound designers etc.) to help conceptualize and guide specialty design
  </li>
  <li>
   Value-engineer design according to shifting budget parameters as required
  </li>
  <li>
   As feasible, work on-site, partnering directly with fabricators/vendors to ensure that the finished product is reflective of creative intent

  Requirements

 </strong>
 <ul>
  <li>
   Pursuing a design career in Interior Design, Architecture, Experiential Design or Industrial Design
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in spatial design and architectural rendering utilizing 3D modeling, visualization and rendering software such as, but not limited to &ndash; SketchUp, Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Maya, Autocad, 3DS Max, Vray. 3D modeling skills are required.
  </li>
  <li>
   Bonus points for foundations in graphic design
  </li>
  <li>
   Quick learner with the ability to pick up new software
  </li>
  <li>
   Highly organized and detail-oriented
  </li>
  <li>
   Strong teamwork and communication skills
  </li>
  <li>
   Digitally connected, passionate about technology and innovation with an insatiable curiosity for how it applies to our industry
  </li>
  <li>
   Experience working with Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Slides, Sheets) a plus

  </li>
 </ul>
 The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $18.00-20.00. The rate is determined based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, job duties, and geographic location.
