Host
The Host will greet and seat guests at the appropriate location in the dining room by following a server rotation, monitoring a waiting list, and answering the telephone. High focus on socializing and becoming familiar with customers.- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.- Must handle food safely and follow proper food handling and cleanliness procedures.- Serve food and drink orders, offer light table service.- General cleaning, opening, &amp; closing tasks.What it takes:- We want people who want to help our caf&eacute; thrive. Spanish is a plus.- NY Food Handler's certificate is a plus.Specifications:- Starting out part-time with the potential for up to 40 hours a week.
