<div><p>STV is seeking a <b>Team Leader / Senior Project Manager</b> to join our Water Practice in Houston, TX. This role is ideal for a senior-level professional with a strong background in water/wastewater infrastructure, team leadership, and municipal client engagement.</p><p></p><p>
This position will play a key role in leading project delivery, managing high-performing teams, and supporting the continued growth of STV&rsquo;s Water practice across Texas.</p><p></p><p><b>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical staff supporting water and wastewater modeling, planning, and design efforts.</li><li>
Oversee project execution across multiple concurrent municipal projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.</li><li>
Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to municipal clients across the Houston region.</li><li>
Lead proposal development, including statements of qualifications, scope definition, and fee negotiations.</li><li>
Drive business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and supporting strategic growth initiatives.</li><li>
Oversee project financial performance, including forecasting, staffing, and workload balancing.</li><li>
Provide technical leadership on water/wastewater infrastructure projects, including pipeline systems, pump stations, and hydraulic modeling.</li><li>
Review and guide the development of engineering reports, studies, and design documents.</li><li>
Mentor and develop staff from entry-level through senior engineers, including performance management and career development.</li><li>
Support QA/QC initiatives and maintain high standards of technical excellence across projects.</li><li>
Represent STV at client meetings, industry events, and conferences.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.</li><li>
15+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering, including project management and team leadership.</li><li>
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.</li><li>
Strong experience with municipal clients in the Houston/Texas market.</li><li>
Proven track record managing multiple projects, teams, and client relationships.</li><li>
Experience with proposal development, fee negotiation, and business development.</li><li>
Strong understanding of water/wastewater systems including pipelines, pump stations, and hydraulic modeling.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Experience leading modeling/planning teams or multidisciplinary water groups.</li><li>
Background working with agencies such as City of Houston, regional authorities, or utility districts.</li><li>
Demonstrated success growing teams or expanding service offerings.</li><li>

Compensation Range:</p>
