About the Role
The Client Support Technician role is a part-time position that provides supplemental, as-needed support to assist in running day-to-day technology operations for our clients, with a focus on helpdesk ticket response via email and Slack. We expect this role to be up to 20 hours per week, during business hours, 9-6pm ET. This role is onsite with the possibility of some remote work.
The Client Support Technician is responsible for maintenance of various technologies managed by Personified on behalf of our clients. This role focuses on the administration and support of: client SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, Adobe Creative Cloud, 1Password, LastPass, etc.; macOS, Windows, ChromeOS, iOS, and Android operating systems and associated hardware; and a variety of endpoint detection and response (EDR) and universal endpoint management (UEM) platforms.
The ideal candidate is technically fluent in the modern IT stack, has strong customer service skills, can break down complex technical concepts into understandable language, is highly responsive, and is able to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations.
This position reports to the Director of Client Support for day-to-day coordination and escalation. Our team works across various communication platforms, including Slack, a ticketing system, and video calls, to coordinate and stay in touch throughout the day.
Client Support Technician Responsibilities
<ul><li>Solving end user issues quickly and efficiently, with a strong emphasis on providing a great service experience throughout the issue resolution process, leaving detailed notes for other staff to reference.</li><li>

Installing, configuring, and mentoring end users on client-approved software</li><li>

Capital One is seeking a customer first technology support associate for a large geographically dispersed organization. Technical support will require excellent written and verbal communication skills and will focus on troubleshooting laptop (Windows &amp; Mac) issues, mobile device support, password resets, etc. Additional responsibilities may include:<ul><li>
Provide technical support through remote access tools to resolve internal end user issues and achieve first call resolution</li><li>
 Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to tickets, calls, chats, or in-person service requests</li><li>
Interact with end users via soft phone or chat modules to resolve software and hardware issues</li><li>
Utilize Service Now as the ticketing tool to track and escalate tickets for end users</li><li>
Assist with onboarding of new Agents by training and allow others to shadow</li><li>
Perform other tasks as needed and instructed by your manager</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification</li><li>
At least 1 year of remote help desk support experience</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
Associate&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and Engineering</li><li>
2+ years of remote help desk support experience</li><li>
1+ year of Mac support experience</li><li>
1+ year of Windows OS support experience</li><li>
ITIL Certification, Mac Integration Basics Certificate, or Windows 10 Certificate</li></ul>

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York, NY: $75,400 - $86,100 for Principal Coordinator, Support Operations 
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate&rsquo;s offer letter.

 Position Overview:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Moderately experienced Level 1 IT Support Technician to provide hands-on help desk and technical support across multiple power plant locations in the New York City area.
 </li>
 <li>
 This role requires a self-sufficient technician who can independently troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day IT issues while traveling between sites.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior field support experience and is comfortable working in industrial environments with minimal supervision.
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Provide break/fix support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform printer troubleshooting and repair, including connectivity and hardware issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Support computer replacement, setup, and basic configuration
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot office applications, PDFs, and common end-user software issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Deliver basic network support, including:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Connecting to switches
 </li>
 <li>
 Understanding patch panels
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic IP addressing and connectivity troubleshooting
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Assist end users with varying technical skill levels, including shared workstation environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond to and resolve daily help desk requests and on-site technical issues
 </li>
 <li>
 Travel between multiple sites across Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn on a rotating schedule
 </li>
 <li>
 Adhere to all safety protocols when working in power plant environments
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Required Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Proven experience as a Level 1 IT Support Technician (not entry-level or intern)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong troubleshooting skills for:
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Desktop and laptop systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Printers and peripheral devices
 </li>
 </ul>
 <li>
 Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (switches, patch panels, IP addressing)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be local to the NYC area and available for emergency support if needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working in industrial/power plant environments with safety requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Access &amp; Technical Environment
 </li>
 <ul>
 <li>
 Limited Active Directory access initially

 Access level similar to intern/junior support:
