Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Chicago, Illinois area.

Core Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Maintaining cooling systems &ndash; diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, or installing and replacing components of entire systems.</li>
<li>Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.</li>
<li>Performing additional maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season HVAC equipment.</li>
<li>Responding to service calls in a timely manner, including emergency call out services.</li>
<li>Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.</li>
<li>Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per the PEARCE Employee Handbook and insurance requirements.</li>
</ul>
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

 Core Experience
<ul>
<li>Must be Level 2 or Universal EPA Certified (Required).</li>
<li>3+ years of experience with HVAC maintenance (commercial preferred).</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems is preferred.</li>
<li>Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.</li>
</ul>
Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHAFCC/FAA/EPA Standards.
<ul>
<li>Candidates should reside in the Chicago, Illinois area.</li>
<li>Must be available for after-hours and weekend call outs on occasion.</li>
<li>Extensive daily travel in an independent work structure.</li>
<li>Occasional overnights required-company pays all travel costs and provides per diem.</li>
<li>Driving to remote work sites as needed.</li>
<li>Be exposed to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.</li>
<li>Lift and move equipment as needed (up to 50 pounds).</li>
<li>Will be required to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.</li>

Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 hourly/DOE<div>
