 Position Summary
 
 
 The CALM lab studies translational issues in transfusion medicine such as the immune response to transfused blood cells, with projects spanning autoimmunity, alloimmunity, tolerance, and aging.
 
 
 A successful candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent organizational and record keeping skills, and be able to multi-task while maintaining precision and quickness.
 
 
 Both animal and human studies are performed in the lab. The primary responsibilities of this position include: participation in day-to-day laboratory research projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator (including experimental set-up, completion, data collection and data analysis). For human studies, the candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of these research studies, from recruiting volunteers, screening subjects, ordering necessary supplies, scheduling, consenting volunteers, performing lab tests, and other logistical study support. Phlebotomy certification is preferred. For animal studies, mouse colony management (including animal husbandry, genotyping, phenotyping, and daily monitoring of experimental mice) is required. Skills frequently utilized to complete daily tasks include: mouse handling, basic lab skills (e.g. pipetting, loading a gel), DNA extraction and PCR, flow cytometry, and sterile technique. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
 
 
The Clinical Research Coordinator is an active participant in the coordination of cancer related clinical research studies from research planning to completion of studies. The Clinical Research Coordinator performs study coordination tasks under the direction of the investigator and works closely with the Research Nurse and Data Coordinator to ensure overall compliance in the conduct of the study, and adherence to the approved study protocol.

Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Additional responsibilities as needed including: Help in the development of SOPs, policy changes, education sessions, and quality improvement projects</li>
<li>Work with licensed clinicians to develop tracking forms for all active trials, maintain tracking forms throughout the life cycle of the protocol</li>
<li>Provide updates to study team members regarding changes to workflow or patient-related specific needs according to protocol modifications</li>
<li>Schedule participants according to the approved protocol; coordinate with ancillary service providers to ensure patients remain adherent to the protocol</li>
<li>Prepare for study visits: bio-specimen collection, research ticket preparation, lab and EKG orders, scheduling of biopsies and scans, facilitating RECIST form, AE and Conmed form completion in conjunction with licensed professional and other tasks as needed.</li>
<li>Act as primary point of contact for all bio-specimen collections</li>
<li>Compile and submit weekly pharmacy lists to investigational pharmacy</li>
<li>Monitor infusion chair assignments; assure patient assignments are aligned with protocol requirements; make necessary requests for changes on as-needed basis</li>

The Senior Field Service Engineering Technician provides advanced technical support for Solta Medical systems through on-site service and remote troubleshooting. This remote role ensures optimal system performance and customer satisfaction by performing installations, maintenance, and repairs, while also supporting escalations and field analysis. The position partners closely with Product Support, Depot, and Engineering teams to drive service quality and continuous improvement.

o Follow documented Field Service Procedures 
o Use diagnostic tools, service aids, service documents and log files to troubleshoot, test and repair medical equipment (laser, RF and ultrasound).

o Provide on-site field service including product installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs. 
o Use proprietary software tools to review system log files for error evaluation, system troubleshooting, and field analysis. 
o Use escalation process to inform Service Manager of unresolved issues and suggest performance improvements. 

<ul><li>Customer &amp; Partner Interaction</li></ul> 
o Assist with service calls and email from customers, distributors, and internal personnel. 
o Provide customer, distributor, and/or third-party training as necessary.

Work Environment 
Most work will be performed in an office environment or at a customer&rsquo;s site (typically a private medical practice). The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Some work may entail incidental exposure to bio-hazardous materials (repair product in doctor&rsquo;s offices) where the employee must employ standard techniques to protect against chemical and biological hazards

The range of starting base pay for this role is $34.00 to $45.00 per hour. Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
