As a Labor Relations Coordinator, you are primarily responsible for the administrative and technical support of Labor (Union) Relations. What YOU will do:

<li>Maintain accurate and confidential labor relations records, such as grievances, discipline documentation, and union correspondence</li>
<li>Facilitate the hourly attendance policy and all its procedural requirements (i.e. timekeeping, pay code/leave application, occurrences, etc.)</li>
<li>Responsible for reviewing and coordinating with front-line leaders, appropriate communication and advisement for application of collective bargaining agreement rules when calculating pay, overtime, shift differentials and other allowances</li>
<li>Responsible for updating weekly overtime charts; posting and distribution to hour management teams</li>
<li>Flag discrepancies or potential violations for union rules for management review (i.e. time, attendance, leave codes, miscalculation of time, missing punches, etc.)</li>
<li>Review and coordinate lost time reports (hourly workforce only)</li>
<li>Verify and process employee timecards for payroll submission on a daily and/or weekly basis (or as needed)</li>
<li>Responsible for generation and maintenance of Labor reporting (as directed)</li>
<li>Liaison between HR and Management for timekeeping systems (Kronos)</li>
<li>Reviewing and disseminating information for hourly call-out logs to front-line leaders</li>
<li>Communicate with payroll and HR teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of time/attendance records; this includes tracking absenteeism, badging error, tardiness and leave requests (where applicable)</li>
<li>Reports patterns or issues with Labor and/or HRIS systems (i.e. SAP, Kronos, EC, Decisions, etc.)</li>

What YOU must bring to Succeed:

Bachelors&rsquo; degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university is required (Human Resources, Communication, Human Services, or a closely related field, preferred)

<li>Candidate must have minimum of one (1) year of HR experience (i.e related tasks related to time/attendance, timekeeping, payroll coding, employee leave functions, recruitment, and etc)</li>
<li>Candidate must have minimum of six (6) months of experience working in a employee relations environment.</li>

Requirements:

Clinical Research Coordinator

Overview: 
The Administrative Services Coordinator I, provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Social Work Department, including front office operations, records management, payroll and scheduling coordination, and documentation support. Assists with data entry and reporting for grant and funding requirements, supports staff compliance with documentation and safety procedures, and serves as a resource for basic technology, office equipment, and operational coordination to support clinical services and staff efficiency.
 
Responsibilities: 
1. Responsible for clerical and administrative tasks, including answering telephones, typing NBU screening documents and correspondences to parents, mail pick-up and delivery, filing, ordering and maintaining adequate supplies, and petty cash.
 2. Provides administrative support by assisting with the identification and location of policies and procedures related to areas of safety by the Social Work Department.
 3. Responsible for entering information in the National Information and Reporting Systems (NIRS) and communicating with clinical staff to obtain additional information that is needed for submission for Institute grant funding ; will present during monthly staff meetings the importance of reporting presentations to help ensure that the Institute will continue to obtain additional funding.
 4. Track staff attendance and updates the UKG payroll information on a bi-weekly basis.
 5. Prepare inpatient social work records/files for each admitted patient and provides verification to staff regarding discharge report tracking.
 6. Distribute adult consent fact sheet to patients through EPIC and collaborate with staff to ensure required documentation is obtained prior to initiation of services.
 7. Develop and maintain on-call schedule for weekend and after-hours staff.
 8. Provide basic computer consultation for inpatient staff and acts as coordinator while providing the Help Desk with assistances as needed.
 9. Provides basic office equipment maintenance and coordinates service requests when necessary.
 10. Support in implementation of site safety procedures by assisting clinical staff with planning and reviewing safety practices related to clinical care and supporting staff and patient safety initiatives.
 
Qualifications: 
EDUCATION: 
High School Diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent is required.
 
EXPERIENCE: 
Minimum 3 years of administrative support experience working in a healthcare setting is required.
 
Minimum pay range: USD $45,059.66/Yr. Maximum pay range: USD $75,603.63/Yr.

Position Summary

The Communications Manager for Johns Hopkins Medicine drives the development and execution of strategic public relations and media-focused communications programs that advance institutional and external objectives. In this role, you will design, implement, and monitor media strategies and PR initiatives that raise the profile of Johns Hopkins Medicine, inform and engage employees and faculty, and support key institutional goals. You will identify and pilot innovative media approaches, including earned, owned, and social channels, and develop systems and process improvements to increase reach, message clarity, media readiness, and crisis preparedness across JHM.

Serving as a liaison and consultant to business units and leaders, you will ensure media and PR objectives align with institutional priorities, cultivate relationships with journalists and media outlets, and support the Director in creating and operationalizing communications guidelines, media policies, and response procedures across the enterprise. This position will also be responsible for supervising and guiding communications staff, including assigning work, providing direction, and supporting professional development to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with departmental goals.

Additional Requirement: 
Participation in an on-call rotation to support emergent institutional messaging needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in communications, journalism, writing or related field required. Masters preferred.

Work Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in journalism, media/public relations, or communications; print and web writing and editing and project management. Demonstrated experience in supervising and implementing effective communications plans and strategies, and in editing/writing high-quality communications pieces for external variety of audiences.

Salary Range: Minimum 38.44/hour - Maximum 67.77/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
