LEAD CORE CUTTING TECHNICIAN

Position Summary 
 
The Lead Core Cutting Technician is a senior operational role responsible for overseeing and performing the advanced setup, operation, and maintenance of automated equipment used to process grain-oriented electrical steel (CRGO) into precision laminations for power transformer cores. This role requires expert-level attention to detail, a deep understanding of process control, and the ability to mentor junior technicians. The Lead will ensure materials are cut accurately and consistently in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards, and will serve as the primary resource for troubleshooting and continuous process improvement during the initial facility ramp-up and ongoing production. 

Key Responsibilities 
 
1. Leadership &amp; Production Oversight
<ul><li>Lead daily shift operations for the core cutting area, ensuring production schedules and quality targets are met.</li>
<li>Mentor and train Core Cutting Technicians on proper equipment setup, operation, quality inspection, and safety procedures.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary subject matter expert for complex core cutting configurations and equipment optimization.</li>
</ul>
2. Core Cutting &amp; Advanced Equipment Operation
<ul><li>Direct and execute the complex setup and programming of automated core cutting and step-lap equipment.</li>
<li>Execute cutting programs for lamination lengths, angles, and configurations based on work instructions.</li>
<li>Proactively monitor and analyze machine performance, implementing immediate and long-term adjustments to maintain consistent and superior product quality.</li>
</ul>
3. Quality Assurance &amp; Auditing
<ul><li>Perform comprehensive, final assessments of incoming CRGO material for correct grade, thickness, coating condition, and surface integrity prior to processing.</li>
<li>Lead the inspection process, auditing laminations for dimensional accuracy, burr height, coating condition, and defects performed by the team.</li>
<li>Ensure rigorous conformance to all engineering specifications and work instructions, serving as the final point of escalation for quality issues.</li>
<li>Accurately log and oversee the logging of production data, material traceability, and quality yields into the ERP or production tracking system.</li>
</ul>
4. Material Handling
<ul><li>Safely direct the handling of steel coils and laminations using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.</li>
<li>Oversee the loading of coils into processing equipment and manage the output workflow of cut laminations.</li>
</ul>
5. Equipment &amp; Process Excellence
<ul><li>Develop and perform complex preventive maintenance (PM) and routine equipment checks beyond basic requirements.</li>
<li>Lead troubleshooting efforts for major equipment or process issues to quickly restore stable operation and minimize downtime.</li>
<li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support equipment commissioning processes.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company standards.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience preferred in a precision manufacturing or industrial environment, with 3+ years specifically operating automated equipment or working in precision manufacturing environments.</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in a lead, senior, or mentoring role within a manufacturing setting, or demonstrated ability to train other Technicians and support equipment setup and process improvements.</li>
<li>Demonstrated expert ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and work instructions.</li>
<li>Advanced proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).</li>
<li>Proven expertise in troubleshooting equipment or process issues.</li>
<li>Ability and willingness to travel Internationally for training, equipment commissioning, or support activities, including extended travel during initial facility ramp-up.</li>
<li>Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Associate degree (AAS) in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.</li>
<li>Direct experience in transformer manufacturing, motor manufacturing, electrical steel processing (CRGO), or similar industries.</li>
<li>Experience with overhead cranes or lifting equipment.</li>

Under the general supervision of the Cath Lab Manager/Designee and the general direction of the medical staff the Cardiac Cath Lab Lead Technician is responsible for professional patient care and related assistance to patients experiencing cardiac intervention upon admission to the department. The Cath Lab Technician Lead utilizes the patient care process in ensuring safe and competent quality patient care. The Cath Lab Lead Technician in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory supports the medical care of all patient requiring any cardiac or peripheral intervention under the direction of the medical staff pursuant to the mission and objectives of the hospital. This person ensures a safe environment for the patient and others, appropriately communicates with physicians, co-workers, volunteers, other hospital departments and patient family members. Fogelman is hiring an experienced Make Ready Technician to join the team at Normandy Woods Apartments in East Houston. We’re looking for dedicated professionals who are eager to grow their skills and contribute to a supportive, team focused environment.
 The ideal candidate possesses a minimum of 3 years experience as a Make Ready Technician, is well rounded with maintenance skills, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair, has strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, and is a team player. HVAC certification is a plus! A valid Driver’s license is required for the position.
 SUMMARY
 The Make Ready Technician maintains efficient operation of the property by clearing out and preparing vacant units for new residents.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 <ul>
<li>Clearing out and disposal of all items left behind after move out.</li>
<li>Completes service on make-ready apartments according to the move out checklist including painting tasks</li>
<li>Performs new move in service requests per the move in checklist.</li>
<li>Assists in taking inventory of supplies and furnishing supervisor with needed list.</li>
<li>Assists with completing other service requests.</li>
<li>Assists in preventive maintenance projects.</li>
<li>Escalate unresolved service issues to the Service Director.</li>
<li>May participate in "on call" rotation and respond to emergency calls as needed.</li>
<li>Responsible for positive communications with residents, vendors, and co-workers.</li>
<li>Weekend work may be required.</li>
<li>Adhere to all company policies including but not limited to safety and Fair Housing.</li>
<li>Other job duties as assigned.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
 <ul>
<li>Two years of experience in maintenance preferred.</li>
<li>HVAC experience with certification (Type 1 & 2 or Universal) preferred.</li>
<li>Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance repair preferred.</li>
<li>Depending on the property, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance may be required.</li>

<li>The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li>
