Responsibilities
Marketing: Consistent gathering of prospect data to include but not limited to the following sources:<ul><li>
Competition Accounts</li><li>
Polk Registrations</li><li>
Fleet Seek</li><li>
Existing parts and service customers</li><li>
Ownership Accounts</li><li>
Competitive Brands</li><li>
Internet / Linked In</li><li>
Networking Events and Trade Shows</li><li>
Maintain a prospect system for the purpose of storing/updating prospect data to include scheduled prospect follow-up (CRM, CV360, or Excel).</li><li>
Contact with prospects via consistent Face to Face Visits, Monthly Sales Blitz, Telephone, Email and Direct Mail.</li><li>
Participate in market and rate surveys to include collection of and qualification of this data. Market surveys to include identifying competition information, market rental rates.</li><li>
Participate in the preparation of the annual marketing plans and subsequent measuring of results.</li><li>
Participate in Customer Appreciation, Customer Retention, and Customer Satisfaction events and programs.</li><li>
Sales: Outside sales responsibilities include scheduled appointments with decision makers, fact finding calls, needs assessments and proposals.

Pursue the achievement of assigned Full Service Lease and Commercial Rental sales quotas to include:</li><li>
Full Service Lease and Contractual Maintenance</li><li>
New accounts # of vehicles (adds, replacements, new business)</li></ul>
Rental<ul><li>
Utilization - Achievement of desired percent</li><li>
Performance - Achievement of desired revenue margin sold</li><li>
Satisfies OEM (Mack, Isuzu) training requirements (DOS, annual training).</li><li>
Prepares forecast of monthly and annual sold business and communicates with Leasing Manager.</li><li>
Sells and delivers a minimum number of FSLs per month / annually.</li><li>
Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.</li><li>
Keeps up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.</li><li>
Maintains a customer follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.</li><li>
Maintain a prospect development system.</li><li>
Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner.</li><li>
Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that each customer understands the vehicle's operating features, coverages, and paperwork.</li><li>
Introduces customers to appropriate service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance scheduling in the dealership's service department.</li><li>
Maintains professional appearance.</li></ul>
Administrative<ul><li>
Responsible for the proper, timely, and accurate completion of:</li><li>
Customer Credit Applications</li><li>
Rate sheets as per local policy</li><li>
Full Service Lease Agreements</li><li>
Schedule &ldquo;A&rdquo; Agreements</li><li>
Commercial Rental Agreements</li><li>
Responsible for securing on a timely basis, plus ensuring the accuracy of all necessary insurance binders provided by customers.</li><li>
Assist in the collection of receivables from assigned customers or as requested.</li><li>
Communicate with and assist Leasing Manager with:</li><li>
Rental reservations/long term rental commitments sold</li><li>
Legalization of new and replaced equipment</li><li>
In-service prep of new equipment</li><li>
Delivery of new and replaced equipment</li><li>
Substitution needs</li><li>
Service department needs pertaining to Full Service Lease/Commercial Rental customers.</li><li>
Administrative needs - to include billing rates sold, customer information, etc.</li></ul><ul><li>
High School Diploma and a college degree and 2 years of experience in Truck Rental and Leasing. College Degree Preferred.</li><li>
Requires excellent verbal and written skills</li><li>
Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization</li><li>
Advanced mathematical skills needed to price, quote, and sell complex equipment packages</li><li>
Excellent sales, communication and presentation skills</li></ul>
