   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  This position is an "On the Job Training" program designed to enhance and develop competent Electro-Mechanical skills. This position will perform basic to moderately complex Electro-Mechanical repairs and installations under the direction of a fully qualified Maintenance Associate.

   Diagnose and corrects mechanical and electrical failures in plant machinery and equipment

   Performs routine and preventive, mechanical and electrical maintenance on all machinery

   Maintains and repairs motorized equipment

   Operates forklifts; transports heavy parts and equipment
  </li>
  <li>
   Fabrication of Metal parts to include, design layout, welding and installation
  </li>

   Basic shop machines operation and tool and die repair

   Maintenance and inventories of Electro-Mechanical spare parts and administration
  </li>

   Maintains work logs as required
  </li>
  <li>
   Performs other related duties and assignments as required

   Performs grounds/facilities repairs, as required

   Clock in &amp; out daily to accurately record time worked

   Attend all required shift and monthly communications meetings

   High school graduate/GED
  </li>
  <li>
   Minimum of one-year manufacturing experience preferred
  </li>

   Individuals applying for this position should have completed or be willing to complete the core educational classes required for Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technology, as set forth by the Human Resource educational guideline and/or have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in an industrial maintenance environment
  </li>

   Classes should begin within 6 months of being awarded this position and continue progress towards the requirements of the Maintenance Associate 4 position
  </li>
  <li>
   Must be able to pack all products without a history of customer complaints or quality issues
  </li>
  <li>
   Must possess common sense, positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent attendance
  </li>
  <li>
   Must be quality and safety conscious, a team player
  </li>

   Must be able to work quickly with product and able to lift 50 pounds maximum, able to lift with assistance 51 to 100 pounds, (awkward boxes or longer product may also require a 2-person lift, even though product may not meet the weight requirements), keep products separate, and record measurements and counts accurately

   Must have excellent manual dexterity and be able to concentrate for sustained periods

Purpose for the Position:</b> To maintain the Hotel areas and all Hotel assets to an acceptable quality standard.</p>

Essential Responsibilities:</b></p>

<li>Provides professional and courteous service at all times.
</li><li>Assists Chief Engineer with all maintenance and preventative maintenance to include: refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventative maintenance, convention center front and back of house spaces, A/C units, ice machines, lighting, kitchen equipment, emergency generators, water softeners, switch rooms, roof exhausts, electrical substations, etc.
</li><li>Monitors electric, gas and water consumption.
</li><li>Ensures all projects are completed according to specifications and are completed on time.
</li><li>Understands and practices all lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards.
</li><li>Perform all guestroom and public area preventive maintenance services as outlined for your hotel.
</li><li>Performs maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly.
</li><li>Reports all safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or the Manager on Duty immediately.
</li><li>Ensures all key inventories are secure.
</li><li>Responds to all emergency situations prepared to assist.
