Provider Responsibilities

Education/Qualifications/Experience<div>

The Associate Director of Programs and Compliance will play a key role in the Franciscan team and is responsible for managing all the agency&rsquo;s programs and the delivery of supportive services. He/she will ensure service delivery models, client deliverables, and programmatic outcomes are aligned with the agency&rsquo;s mission, vision, strategic goals, and values while adhering to the harm reduction model's and trauma-informed care's core tenets. He/she ensures that the supportive services operate efficiently and effectively according to best practices. Provides management over all supportive service staff members, interns, and volunteers; analyzes performance, implements corrective action, and prepares necessary internal and external reports. He/she will be the liaison between Franciscan Outreach and external agencies about program(s) under his/her authority. The Associate Director of Programs and Compliance will provide ongoing, proactive management of programs and staff members under his/her supervision.

This role also ensures that program scopes are fulfilled, key performance indicators (KPIs) are developed and monitored, and program data is accurate, aggregated, and translated into actionable insights for leadership.

Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</h4>
Program Supervision and Oversight (60%)
<ul><li>
Provides oneonone supervision to assigned staff, including those who supervise other staff; documents all supervision activities</li><li>
Ensure all programs operate in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, grant requirements, and organizational policies.</li><li>
Oversees all supportive services delivery, including case assignment, scheduling meetings and events, distribution of assistance, eviction/discharge prevention, client grievances, etc.</li><li>
Conduct periodic compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.</li><li>
Identify compliance gaps and implement corrective action plans.</li><li>
Oversee program alignment with approved scopes of work, deliverables, and funding requirements.</li><li>

Manage relationships with Franciscan Outreach partner agencies</li><li>

Provides regular training to case managers, interns, and other staff on topics related to mental health and mental illness, trauma and traumainformed care, motivational interviewing, and various clinical frameworks to support excellent case management.</li><li>
Consults oneonone with assigned staff around behavioral health concerns and supports case managers in providing services in a way that is consistent with Franciscan Outreach values and best practices.</li></ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader">
Program Development (20%)</h4><ul><li>
Develop relationships with community agencies throughout Chicago to enhance the service offerings for Franciscan Outreach clients</li><li>
Build partnerships and linkages, and identify opportunities for collaboration, including colocated services when possible</li><li>
Obtains documentation of match via partnerships and inkind services</li><li>

Indirect Patient Care<ul><li>
Maintains a safe and clean environment. Duties may include: maintaining temperature logs on, defrosting, and cleaning refrigerator, straightening linen, cleaning utility rooms, cleaning IV poles, cleaning scale, cleaning and returning equipment to SPD, replacing and disposing of soiled linen bags.</li><li>
Performs duties delegated by the RN to facilitate patient care and the efficient operations of the assigned patient care unit.</li><li>
Collects and inventories patient belongings on admission, transfer and discharge.</li><li>
Completes charges using appropriate documentation.</li><li>
Orders supplies on-line or appropriate requisitions and stocks in appropriate location.</li><li>
Obtains necessary equipment and supplies to facilitate patient care.</li><li>
Assures room readiness for incoming patients.</li><li>
Checks designated equipment for proper functioning.</li><li>
Counts instruments and sterile trays sent and received from SEP as appropriate for assigned unit.</li><li>
Stocks and removes linen from patient rooms.</li><li>

Qualifications
Required:<ul><li>
CNA Certification or currently enrolled in School of Nursing who has successfully completed basic clinical rotations.</li><li>
CPR recognition by the American Heart Association (BLS for Healthcare Providers).</li><li>
Minimum of 90% correct on annual mandatory Health and Safety Training quizzes.</li><li>
Unit based recognition for Capillary Blood Glucose Monitoring.</li><li>
High school diploma required. One year of college or nursing education or equivalent experience preferred.</li><li>
Previous experience in a health care setting preferred with a demonstrated ability to relate to patients, family, nursing and medical staff.</li></ul>
