 This position is based in the Philippines and will support the stand-up and operation of a contracted Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility located in Lal-Lo. The assignment is scheduled from April 18 through June 19, 2026, and will provide expeditionary medical support to U.S. military personnel and other authorized beneficiaries operating in the region.
 
 
 
 
 Please note that this is a temporary contract position and is not based in the United States. Candidates must be willing and able to travel internationally and work in an overseas operational environment for the duration of the contract.
 
 
 
 The Laboratory Technician evaluates specimens, performs routine and complex analytical testing, ensures assay quality control, maintains and troubleshoots laboratory equipment, manages laboratory inventory, and keeps detailed records of all test results. In a remote, resource-limited, and high-stress setting, the role establishes, operates, and maintains reliable diagnostic capability with minimal supervision to support immediate clinical and public health decisions for authorized beneficiaries.

Manage and maintain the campus Maker Space to support innovation, creativity, and student engagement.</li></ul>
Leadership and Collaboration<ul><li>
Provide leadership and support to teachers in the integration of instructional technology and information literacy.</li><li>
Collaborate with campus leadership and instructional teams to support the ACE instructional model.</li><li>
Partner with Campus Instructional Technology Specialists to provide campus professional development, coaching, and modeling for instructional technology integration.</li><li>
Participate in campus instructional leadership meetings and collaborative planning processes.</li><li>
Participate as both a learner and facilitator in district professional development and professional learning communities.</li></ul>
Professional Responsibilities<ul><li>
Maintain professionalism in conduct, communication, and work ethic.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records related to library resources, instructional support, and program implementation.</li><li>
Adhere to the Texas Education Code of Ethics and district policies.</li><li>
Participate in all required professional development and training, which may occur within or outside the regular instructional day or employee work calendar as part of the ACE instructional model.</li><li>
Perform all other duties as assigned by campus administration.</li></ul>

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology
Licenses/Certifications:<ul><li>
Certificate in Basic or Advanced Life Support and Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required. In addition, one (1) of the following required:</li><li>
Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)</li><li>
If performing diagnostic CT, Registered CT Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-CT) is also required.</li></ul>
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:<ul><li>
Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others in order to perform job functions.</li></ul>
Principal Accountabilities<ul><li>
Performs nuclear medicine exams on patients: Prepares patients for exam; explains procedure; prepares and administers radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using a variety of radioisotope equipment; detects and maps radiopharmaceuticals in patient bodies using imaging equipment; ensures technical quality of the images; collects, prepares and analyzes biologic specimens; prepares data for interpretation.</li><li>
Enters and monitors patient data.</li><li>
Performs quality assurance on imaging equipment. May assist with initial and renewal application for ACR and other accreditation.</li><li>
Identifies and reports any accidents, complaints or equipment malfunction to department management.</li><li>
Takes emergency call within the department.
</li><li>Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.</li><li>
