The West Houston Diagnostic Laboratory Center provides patient care service for over 950 patients each week. 
 
The ideal candidate is a skilled, patient-focused phlebotomist with proven experience in venipuncture and specimen collection who thrives in a fast-paced lab environment. They demonstrate strong attention to detail, adhere strictly to safety and patient identification protocols, and communicate professionally while working efficiently to deliver excellent patient care. Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented, and can adapt to operational needs, including opening the lab, coming in early, or providing occasional Saturday coverage as required. The willingness to travel to another HAL location on rare occasions. They bring strong accountability, punctuality, and collaboration skills to ensure smooth end-of-day operations and consistent service excellence across locations. External candidates must also be open to completing initial training in the medical center prior to working at HAL locations. 
 
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of three months phlebotomy experience in a clinical laboratory. 
 
The work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm, weekends may be required. Travel may be required to The Woodlands location. Initial or remedial training at the Medical Center for 1 month. 
 
The hourly rate for this position is $18.27 - $22.84 - $27.40 based on experience.

Phlebotomist - West Houston

<div>This position independently performs standard clinical testing in a clinical laboratory or similar setting. The role supports multidisciplinary patient care, quality control, and the use of laboratory instrumentation to produce analytical data from patient specimens.
