 Northwestern Medicine has an exciting outpatient opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead the newly established Lung Health Center within CTI. The Lung Health Center is designed to improve lung cancer screening rates through comprehensive respiratory health assessments, patient triage, care coordination, and longitudinal follow-up. This role will support patients of all backgrounds and clinical complexities while advancing early detection and preventative lung health initiatives.
 
 
 The APP will be responsible for maintaining an outpatient clinic, both virtual and in person, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and coordinating treatment with interdisciplinary team members and consulting providers. This role will also work closely with research teams as part of a broader lung cancer screening and early detection initiative.

Pay: Base pay of $100,000-140,000 based of experience + up to $9,000 in quarterly performance bonuses. Bonus eligibility and structure may be updated periodically in alignment with company programs.

 What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul><li>
Own patient care: Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate their physical condition to make informed diagnoses and treatment decisions.</li><li>
Collaborate with physicians: Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care to deliver comprehensive treatment plans.</li><li>
Lead diagnostic efforts: Administer and interpret diagnostic tests (x-rays, EKGs, lab work) to get to the heart of the issue.</li><li>
Provide holistic care: Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventative care.</li><li>
Perform procedures: Deliver essential care with procedures like injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations, all aimed at getting patients back to doing what they do best.</li><li>
Supervise and coordinate: Lead the charge with technicians and assistants, ensuring everything runs smoothly and effectively.</li></ul>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring:<ul><li>
2&ndash;5 years of experience in Primary Care and Pediatrics (preferred) - Open to new Graduates.</li><li>
IL PA or FNP licensure (required).</li><li>
Master&rsquo;s Degree in a related field.</li><li>
Bilingual in English &amp; Spanish (required)</li><li>
A deep understanding of patient care, a desire to keep learning, and a commitment to unfiltered compassion.</li><li>
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt on the fly while keeping patient outcomes front and center.</li></ul>
