We are seeking an experienced <b>Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our Hospital Medicine team</b> in a dedicated admissions and triage role. This APP will manage the admissions triage pager and coordinate inpatient admissions from the: Emergency Department (ED), Outside hospitals (OSH) transfers, Direct admissions, and ICU transfers; Evaluate patients in the Emergency Department when there is a clinical concern or when an in-person assessment is warranted; Assist with completing admissions during periods of lower triage volume or when there are breaks in incoming pages; and, Collaborate closely with hospitalists, emergency medicine physicians, nursing staff, and transfer center personnel to facilitate safe and efficient patient placement. Additionally, performance metrics will be monitored to ensure timely, high-quality patient care, including: Length of Stay (LOS), Time to Admit (TAT-A), Response times for direct admissions, and Response times for ICU transfers.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
