Payroll Auditors/Analysts<br>
The Payroll Auditor will be responsible for the following:<br>
<ul><li>Reconciliation of payroll reports for all Civilian and Uniform NYPD titles for both Active and Inactive employees,
</li><li>Process one-time payments, one-time deductions, retro pay/leave triggers, and approval of payroll transactions.
</li><li>Review pending annual and bi-annual payments made to all eligible Civilian and Uniform titles,
</li><li>Resolve payroll discrepancies and communicate resolutions with different commands.
</li><li>Audit all payroll transactions on 160/161 &ldquo;Pending Pay Detail Report&rdquo;,
</li><li>Review biweekly paychecks to avoid underpayments or overpayments, generating supplemental paychecks as required.
</li><li>Assisting in audits of sick/workers compensation grants payments for civilian members of service and will respond to all payroll inquiries.
</li><li>Act as liaison between all NYPD commands city-wide and the various internal Payroll/Timekeeping Units to resolve issues as they occur.</li></ul><br>
Workers Compensation Analysts<br>
The WC Analysts will be responsible for the following:<br>
<ul><li>Monitoring worker's compensation leaves, verifying members status and utilizing the Payroll Management System (PMS) for confirmation of time balances.
</li><li>Reviewing cases on the Workers' Compensation System (WCS) to verify that the correct information is in the system,
</li><li>Processing transfers of employees to the Military and Extended Leave Desk and making proper notifications to the Payroll Section.
</li><li>The position requires monitoring of the overpayment and underpayment of members placed in and out of various workers' compensation statuses.
</li><li>Answer phone calls and assist members by liaising with the Health Benefits Office regarding reinstatement of health insurance and assisting with the process of civilian workers' compensation claims by receiving C2 packages,
