</b></p><p></p><p>The CUNY SPS Office of Innovative Learning Solutions (ILS) seeks an experienced and detail-oriented learning and development professional to join our training team in the role of Program Director. This role will be an integral part of the Energy Training team that manages the design, development, delivery, and administration of relevant learning programs on behalf of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services&rsquo; (DCAS) Division of Energy Management. This program prepares City facilities personnel to make energy-smart decisions that assist the City of New York in meeting its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction goals. The program is designed to help facility professionals across City agencies envision and complete a learning path specifically targeted to their professional and personnel development goals.
</p><p></p><p>The Program Director, Energy Training has an integral role in ensuring the overall effective operation of the Training Operations and Program Effectiveness workstreams.
</p><p>The role leads a training team that includes a Senior Program Manager, Training Operations, and a Senior Program Manager, Program Effectiveness. These roles are supported by two Learning and Development Program Specialists, a Program Coordinator, a Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator, and a Lead Data Program Analyst. The Program Director, Energy Training also supports special projects and workgroups within CUNY SPS ILS.<br>
</p><p></p><p><b>Duties and Responsibilities:
</b></p><p></p><p>Reporting to the Senior Program Director, Office of Innovative Learning Solutions, the Program Director will oversee the seven members of the Energy Training Team and:
</p><ul><li><p>Provide leadership and vision to the staff involved in the delivery of a portfolio of instructor-led, hybrid, and virtual courses, webinars, and self-directed training to a diverse technical and non-technical audience that includes Building Operators, Engineers, Energy Managers, Facility Managers, Electricians, and other agency energy personnel.
</p></li><li><p>Develop, liaise with, and manage program sponsor and related stakeholder relationships and partnerships.
</p></li><li><p>Supervise two direct reports: the Sr. Program Manager Training Operations (with four staff members) and the Sr. Program Manager, Program Effectiveness (with one staff member).
</p></li><li><p>Consult with client organizations on employee performance factors and support the design of learning interventions to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
</p></li><li><p>Lead programmatic administration activities inclusive of budget management, procurement, personnel management, and other operational responsibilities related to overseeing grant-funded programs
</p></li><li><p>Identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain documentation on standard operating procedures for all programmatic activities.
</p></li><li><p>Initiate and/or support vendor partnerships for instructional design and training delivery projects.

</p></li><li><p>Oversee the building of staff capacity for training delivery through the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of technical subject matter expert instructors and coaches.

</b></p><ul><li><p>Master&rsquo;s Degree in adult learning, organizational development/learning, human resources management, or a related field.

Essential Accountabilities</b></p><ul><li>
Coordinates medical pre-admission evaluation and screening of prospective people with disabilities.</li><li>
Reviews and updates the person&rsquo;s pre-admission evaluations within thirty (30) days of placement.</li><li>
Develops the annual Nursing Care Plan. Reviews and revises the Nursing Care Plan at least quarterly.<ul><li>
Compiles and/or tracks all health problems (acute/chronic) and prepares/updates Nursing Care Plans as needed.</li></ul></li><li>
Transcribes medication orders and dispenses daily medication to all people served as indicated.</li><li>
Conducts monthly reviews of the medication record of each person served to monitor potential adverse reactions, allergies, interactions, contraindications, rationality and determine the need for laboratory test modifications. Advises the physician of any medication errors or issues and indicates/recommends changes.</li><li>
Reviews all consults and/or medical reports with recommendations and meets with the Residence Manager, Nursing Supervisor on a weekly basis to ensure that all follow up is completed.</li><li>
Reviews special dietary orders and ensures accurate documentation of blood pressure and weight for each person served.</li><li>
Provides first aid and daily nursing care to the people served as needed. Monitors each person&rsquo;s medical condition through observation and examination.</li><li>
Provide on-going care management and treatment of medical issues as prescribed by the Nursing Care Plans and/or physicians instructions, including but not limited to, providing soaks, changing dressings and managing G tubes and colostomy bags etc.</li><li>
Escorts/accompanies individuals on medical or psychiatric appointments as needed to ensure appropriate exchange of information.</li><li>
Participates in the weekly consult review meetings and ensures that all appointments/evaluations are completed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Responds in a timely fashion (within &frac12; hour) to all contacts from the residence requesting medical consultation/guidance and directs medical intervention until the situation is resolved. Serves as assigned on emergency medical response team for the Day Habilitation programs.</li><li>

The Manager, Foundation Relations is responsible for the operational and administrative infrastructure that enables the Foundation Relations team&rsquo;s fundraising success. This position plays a central role in prospect research, grants administration, data management, and stewardship coordination, ensuring smooth workflows and accurate tracking of all foundation activities. In addition to maintaining a small portfolio of funders, the Manager supports proposal and report development by conducting research; gathering programmatic and financial information from Museum colleagues; and drafting proposals, correspondence, and other materials. A key function is maintaining the team&rsquo;s systems and processes&mdash;including the grants calendar, prospect database, and documentation library&mdash;to support strategic decision-making by the Director and Associate Director. The Manager also coordinates logistics for foundation site visits and other cultivation activities, and liaises with Advancement Services on compliance, budget, and other financial or operational questions.

<b>Prospect Research &amp; Grants Administration</b>
</div><ul><li>Conduct research on current and prospective foundation donors, monitoring funding trends, RFPs, and alignment with Museum priorities.</li>
<li>Maintain and update prospect grids and the team&rsquo;s annual grants calendar, tracking proposal and report deadlines to ensure timely submissions.</li>
<li>Manage grant files and coordinate with Advancement Services to maintain a documentation library of institutional materials required for proposals and reports.</li>
<li>Monitor pledge payment schedules and follow up on overdue payments, track incoming grants; reconcile internal tracking with Advancement Services and Finance.</li>
<li>Prepare prospect briefings and research summaries for the Director and Associate Director in advance of meetings and site visits.</li>

</ul><div><b>Proposal &amp; Report Support</b></div><ul>
<li>Gather programmatic information from Museum colleagues in Science, Learning and Public Engagement, and other departments, as needed, to support proposal and report development.</li>
<li>Draft letters of inquiry, proposals, acknowledgment letters, and routine funder correspondence for review by the Director.</li>
<li>Compile budget information and coordinate with Advancement Services and Finance to prepare accurate financial data for proposals and reports.</li>
<li>Edit and proofread proposals, reports, and other materials drafted by team members.</li>
</ul><div><b>Stewardship &amp; Cultivation Coordination</b></div><ul>
<li>Coordinate logistics for foundation site visits, including scheduling with Museum colleagues, preparing itineraries, arranging meeting spaces, and greeting visitors.</li>
<li>Maintain foundation invitation lists for exhibition openings, special events, and holiday correspondence.</li>
<li>Support stewardship activities by gathering impact data and program updates from Museum staff for inclusion in reports and funder communications.</li>
<li>Staff periodic Advancement events in evenings or on weekends, as needed.</li>
</ul><div><b>Data Management &amp; Operational Support</b></div><ul>
<li>Enter and track all foundation proposals, actions, and projections in Raiser&rsquo;s Edge NXT; maintain accurate and up-to-date records.</li>
<li>Submit quarterly foundation contributions data to Secretary and Development Reports for Museum Board meetings.</li>
<li>Review foundation crediting and recognition requests as needed.</li>

The expected salary range for the Manager, Foundation Relations is $67,000/annual &ndash; $72,000/annual. The AMNH offers an extensive benefits package designed to meet the needs of our dedicated and diverse community.<br>

Pay will be determined based on several factors. The hiring range for the position at commencement is based on the type of work and the scope of responsibilities. The salary and placement offered is based on a number of individualized factors, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, education, credentials, areas of specialization and depth and scope of experience.</div></div>
