</p><p><b>POSITION SUMMARY</b></p><p>
The Transitional Housing Case Manager will provide comprehensive case management services to LGBTQ+ homeless youth ages 21-24. This role delivers holistic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive care by assessing ongoing client needs, developing Individualized Service Plans, coordinating with internal and external resources, connecting clients to necessary resources and long term housing to prepare them for independent living.</p><p>
The primary focus areas include housing stability, crisis response, and service coordination.</p><p>

Develop relationships with NYC service providers, including but not limited to those addressing social, educational/vocational, medical, mental health, and housing needs.</li><li>

The Jewish Board’s Adult Residential Division supports adults with serious and persistent mental illness to live in the community with as much independence as possible. Using a non-judgmental, harm-reduction approach, staff model and guide residents to create and meet personalized recovery goals, develop independent living skills, and live in a healthy and secure manner. <b>POSITION OVERVIEW:</b><br>
The Case Manager is the most senior level of direct care staff working within the Jewish Board’s supportive housing programs to help residents live in the community as independently as possible.

Resident Support

<li>Carries a caseload and practices person-centered and collaborative service planning with residents.</li>

The Role:

The Senior Manager of Tax Transformation and Innovation - Indirect Tax Automation is responsible for managing comprehensive tax transformation initiatives within client tax organizations. The valued team member leads the evaluation, selection, and implementation of tax determination engines for clients transforming their indirect tax operations. This is a technical role focused on delivering high-quality advisory work on tax automation solutions specifically related to sales, use and excise taxes automation.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Conduct indirect tax process assessment and identify automation opportunities across sales tax, VAT/GST, and related tax domains.</li><li>
Evaluate tax determination engine vendors (Vertex, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE, Avalara, etc.) to assess fit against client requirements, complex tax scenarios, and existing ERP set-up and transaction flows.</li><li>
Lead vendor selection process including RFP development, demonstrations, accuracy testing, and business case development.</li><li>
Perform capability assessment across a series of vendors in order to recommend a solution set that fits into client corporate technology strategies.</li><li>
Design tax engine implementation strategies including data setup, configuration approach, system integration, and testing plans.</li><li>
Develop detailed requirements documentation and technical specifications for tax engine implementation.</li><li>
Create and manage an implementation roadmap that outlines key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements</li><li>
Manage proof-of-concept projects to validate tax engine accuracy and functionality.</li><li>
Provide technical guidance during contract negotiations with vendors.</li><li>
Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies, including communication, training, and support for impacted teams</li><li>

The Requirements:
