About This Role:

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a National Training Manager to lead and conduct training programs for our Specialty Account Managers. This role is pivotal in ensuring our sales teams are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively communicate our product offerings to healthcare professionals.

This is a hybrid role that includes both remote and field-based work. This position requires up to 50% travel based on reoccurring national, regional and HQ-based training events, as well as travel to customer field rides with our specialty account team.
Job Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

<li>Conduct all foundational new hire and advanced sales training classes virtually with some in-person sessions</li>
<li>Coach and support new specialty account managers in their onboarding</li>
<li>Partnering with the HQ based training team and cross functional teams, manage all aspects of training logistics for assigned classes to ensure a seamless learning experience for newly hired sales professionals</li>
<li>Engage in and support in the design, development, and implementation of training national and regional training events</li>

About the Team:

AlphaSense&rsquo;s Sales organization is structured across Financial Services and Corporate segments. The Corporate Sales team supports Fortune 1000 customers and is organized by industry verticals, including Life Sciences, Technology, Media and Telecom, Energy and Industrials, Consulting, and Consumer Packaged Goods. This role sits within the Corporate Sales organization, working with mid-market and enterprise customers and partnering closely with a dedicated Investor Relations sales team.

About the Role:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven sales professional to join our growing US Corporate sales team, focused on building new relationships and expanding existing ones across our Corporate Finance client base. This is an opportunity to join a high-growth company and sell an award-winning product that is rapidly being adopted by leading organizations globally. In this role, you will have meaningful ownership, visibility, and impact as you help shape AlphaSense&rsquo;s continued growth within a critical vertical.

Who You Are:</h4>
<ul><li>Demonstrated success selling a B2B SaaS solution into Corporations or Professional Services, with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying environments</li>
<li>Experience selling into or across a Corporate Finance function, engaging stakeholders such as C-suite executives, Investor Relations, Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Communications</li>
<li>Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a performance-driven mindset and commitment to building a winning culture</li>
<li>Comfortable prospecting and building pipeline through outbound efforts, influencing senior decision-makers, and creating internal advocacy for enterprise-level deals</li>
<li>Strong communicator who can distill complex concepts into clear, compelling messages across all levels of an organization</li>
<li>Collaborative, curious, and adaptable, with a reputation for delivering results and partnering effectively across teams</li>

What You&rsquo;ll Do:
<ul>
<li>Proactively build relationships with prospective and existing AlphaSense Corporate Finance customers to generate new business and expansion opportunities</li>
<li>Own both new business development and account growth, including researching opportunities, prospecting new teams, conducting demos, managing trials, and closing deals</li>
<li>Develop and maintain a healthy, accurate pipeline while forecasting against defined revenue targets</li>
<li>Partner closely with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Specialists to drive engagement, successful trials, and long-term growth</li>
<li>Share market and customer insights with Sales, Product, Content, and Product Marketing teams to inform product and go-to-market strategy</li>
<li>Travel to clients as business needs require</li>

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

Base Compensation Range
