Job Overview:</div><div>
The Senior Editor will oversee the development of high quality, accurate, and engaging clinical content for an audience of health care providers in the rheumatology space (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and others). The Senior Editor must have familiarity with producing and editing medical content across multiple digital formats, including news briefs and long-form feature articles, live conference coverage, slideshows, polls, videos, quizzes, and podcasts. They will also be responsible for monitoring audience engagement and content performance, leveraging article metrics and data trends to inform content strategy.</div><div></div><div> 
Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Managing a team of freelance medical journalists for news and feature content creation</li><li>

Editing and fact-checking duties, including formatting, ensuring reference accuracy, adherence to AMA style, tagging, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to adhere to workflows and publication deadlines</li><li>

Skills and Requirements:

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in English/Journalism/Communications or Biological Sciences; advanced degree and clinical experience desirable</li><li>

Proficient at maintaining a robust volume of content for a daily publishing schedule</li><li>

CNN is seeking a Senior Editor, AI Innovation to prototype, test and deploy AI-powered tools, workflows and systems that advance our distinctive reporting and newsroom efficiency. Embedded in editorial operations, this role partners closely with reporters&mdash;particularly on investigative, enterprise, and data-driven work&mdash;to develop practical, scalable AI solutions that enhance research, editing, information management, and production. The role requires strong technical fluency, editorial judgment, and expertise in prompt-driven and agentic AI systems, with a focus on ensuring all AI-assisted work meets CNN&rsquo;s standards for accuracy, objectivity, fairness, and transparency.
Your Role Accountabilities&hellip;<ul><li>
Embed with reporters, producers, and editors&mdash;especially on investigative and enterprise work&mdash;to build AI-powered tools and conduct AI-powered reporting</li><li>
Rapidly prototype and iterate using AI tools, APIs and lightweight code, moving from concept to usable solutions in real newsroom contexts</li><li>
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evolve successful prototypes into scalable tools and systems</li><li>
Design, test and refine prompt systems to produce consistent, high-quality outputs across newsroom use cases</li><li>
Build workflows that analyze documents, transcripts, datasets and other inputs to surface insights and accelerate newsgathering</li><li>
Develop AI-assisted workflows that improve efficiency across research, drafting, editing and information sharing</li><li>
Design and prototype AI agents that can execute multi-step workflows (e.g., ingest, analyze, summarize, and route information) to support reporting and newsroom operations</li><li>

Qualifications &amp; Experience&hellip;<ul><li>
7+ years of experience in journalism, digital media, product, or a related field with hands-on work in editorial workflows</li><li>
Strong understanding of investigative, enterprise, or data-driven reporting processes and standards</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to build or prototype tools, scripts, or workflows (e.g., Python, APIs, or automation tools) for real-world use cases</li><li>
Experience applying AI/LLM tools to analyze content and support reporting or workflow use cases, including prompt design, evaluation and output validation</li><li>
Familiarity with AI agent concepts or frameworks (e.g., multi-step workflows, tool use, retrieval, or orchestration)</li><li>
Comfort working in code (e.g., Python, APIs, JSON) or low-code environments to rapidly build and test solutions</li><li>
Ability to move quickly from concept to prototype, iterating based on user feedback and performance</li><li>

Senior Visuals Editor, Vanity Fair
The Senior Visual Editor is responsible for curating and producing innovative visual content across platforms (including social, video, digital, print, experiential) that meets brand integrity and production quality standards, while remaining on schedule and on budget. The successful candidate will have excellent editorial judgment and a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once. A broad knowledge of industry teams and connections is also a must (i.e. strong relationships with agencies, photographers, stylists, studios, etc.)
This position is based in NYC and reports to the Visuals Director of Vanity Fair.<ul><li>
Help lead all aspects of photo shoot production primarily for FOB, well features, covers and special projects&mdash;from commissioning teams and liaising with vendors to ensuring that the shoot is successful and falls within budget.</li><li>
Help conceive digital-first photo strategies and assist with visual direction for print-to-web production. Secure multimedia and video assets for digital crops, social platforms, BTS content, videos, etc.</li><li>
Regularly review portfolios and proactively build relationships with agencies and photographers to unearth new talent.</li><li>
Curate photographer lists and create visual mood boards.</li><li>
Create and maintain timelines, schedules, budgets, shot-lists, call sheets, and other production documents&mdash;proactively sharing and communicating this information to all key stakeholders throughout the project.</li><li>
Lead on-set coordination: can lead a crew through a shot list in a timely manner, problem-solve when issues arise on set, and communicate clearly to help ensure the visual direction is executed successfully.</li><li>

Liaise across departments and act as coordinating producer with editorial, design, social, video, web design and production&mdash;for Vanity Fair&rsquo;s tentpole and special projects such as Hollywood issue, Oscars, among others.</li><li>
Conceptualize, produce, oversee and travel to VF&rsquo;s signature portrait studios and video studios for film festivals and awards season&mdash;such as TIFF, Cannes, NYFF, Oscars, Golden Globes, and Emmy&rsquo;s, among others.</li><li>
Manage content production budgets, as assigned,including negotiating rates with outside vendors. Exercise sound judgment in when to escalate to Visuals Director and Deputy Editor.</li><li>

Secure contracts, photo fees, and usage rights for all images (produced and researched), in partnership with CN legal and business affairs teams.</li><li>

Requirements:<ul><li>
5-7+ years work experience in photo/visual production and photo editing, magazine experience strongly preferred, with a growing book of contacts for agencies, photographers, stylists, studios, etc.</li><li>
Experience leading complex, talent based editorial shoots, navigating strong personalities with grace.</li><li>
Passion for current events and visual culture along with a strong foundation in art history.</li><li>
A highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.</li><li>
Strong editorial judgment with demonstrated experience developing visual stories across platforms, using detailed understanding of platform requirements.</li><li>
