<div>THE ROLE

As Social Content Creator, you will work as a key player on an agile team, creating, shooting, editing, and producing engaging social brand content.

The ideal candidate is obsessed with hands-on content creation and has a passion for innovation and new digital &amp; social platforms. You have a background in creating vertical video on various platforms (TikTok, IG, YT Shorts) along with a deep understanding of production must-haves, a knack for ideation, strategic know-how, and a collaborative mindset.

This role requires someone who is organized, creative, and energized by making great work, whether that be concepting in partnership with the broader team, or picking up a phone or camera and shooting/editing a piece of content themselves.

This means making sure the production of that content is planned out, scheduled, and executed correctly (often by YOU!), and also that props and sets are considered. You will also have the opportunity to brief in and work with in-house editors on some projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Ideate &amp; execute the creation of platform-native social content that's on strategy &amp; responsive to trends and consumer-focused ideation.</li>
<li>Work independently and partnered with the creative team, content creators, influencers, and production partners in the development and execution of brand content.</li>
<li>Work cross-functionally with account management, project management, strategy and creative teams.</li>
<li>Regularly contribute to creative and strategic brainstorms to develop and create seamlessly executable, quick-turn content within timeline and budget parameters.</li>
<li>Develop and write creative briefs for content creators and influencers.</li>
<li>Contribute to the development and implementation of creative workflows, systems, and processes to improve creative output and operational efficiency.</li>
<li>Work simultaneously on multiple clients' programs within tight deadlines, seeing projects through from start to finish.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Must be living in the New York area or commutable location from NY</li>
<li>4-8 years of content creation experience in a marketing setting</li>
<li>Experience concepting, creating, editing, and posting brand content across owned social channels</li>
<li>Experience creating original and remixed content</li>
<li><ul><li>Original: capturing / shooting video and/or photography for posting</li>
<li>Remix: working with existing footage and/or photography to create remixed assets</li>
</ul></li><li>Comfortability working with in-app and external tools to create original content &mdash; e.g., filters, sounds, visual effects, etc.</li>
<li>Master of in-app editing across platforms (including TikTok, CapCut, and beyond) and external editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Davicini, etc.)</li>
<li>Proficiency in hands-on content creation, handling production and creative execution</li>
<li>Ability to ideate &amp; concept original ideas both independently and in collaboration with team members.</li>
<li>Extensive experience concepting and executing original content across TikTok, Instagram (Reels, Stories, Feed), YouTube (including Shorts), and other emerging platforms.</li>

BASE SALARY RANGE

Our estimated range for this role is $70,000-95,000*

 The Branded Social Creator is a hands-on content maker responsible for supporting the development, capture, and editing of branded social content built for native platform distribution.  Working under the direction of the Senior Social Creator and in close partnership with the Executive Producer of Social, Creative, and Production, this person will help bring branded social concepts to life across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging platforms.  This role is ideal for someone with strong maker instincts, good taste, and solid platform fluency who is ready to grow under senior creative leadership while contributing meaningfully to a high-volume area of the business.

 Pay Range
 
 
 
 Salary: New York: $67,000.00 - $80,000.00
 
 
 The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance.
