Social Media Manager

Amplified Digital, a division of Lee Enterprises, is seeking a highly creative, performance-driven Social Media & Community Manager who lives and breathes social media. This is not a “just post and schedule” role — this person will own social strategy, content creation, video editing, on-camera presence, and community engagement across multiple healthcare brands. You should be obsessed with trends, deeply fluent in short-form video, confident behind and in front of the camera, and excited to build culture, spark conversation, and create content that performs.

This is a remote role; however, candidates must live in Illinois or Northwest Indiana, have their own car, and be willing to drive regularly to clinic locations and community events across IL and Northwest Indiana to film content and capture on-site social media. This position pays $65,000 to $75,000 annually.

What You’ll Do
<br>Social Strategy & Content Creation
<br><ul>
<li>Own and execute social media across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube</li>
<li>Plan and manage content calendars and posting schedules</li>
<li>Take content from idea → storyboard → filming → editing → posting → reporting</li>
<li>Create high-volume, high-quality short-form and long-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)</li>
<li>Write compelling captions, hooks, and hashtag strategies</li>
<li>Track performance and report insights using analytics tools</li>
</ul>
Video & Creative Execution
<br><ul>
<li>Film with both phone and DSLR</li>
<li>Edit high-performing, thumb-stopping videos using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, After Effects, Canva, etc.</li>
<li>Stay ahead of trends, audio, editing styles, and algorithm changes</li>
<li>Continuously test new formats and creative approaches</li>
</ul>
On-Camera & Field Content

<li>Act as on-camera talent when needed</li>
<li>Confidently interview doctors, staff, patients (when appropriate), and community members</li>
<li>Travel to clinic locations and events across Illinois and Northwest Indiana to capture content</li>

Reputation Management
