<p>TMD is a fast-paced digital marketing agency based in NYC and the leading agency for renowned authors and thought leaders. We are seeking a highly experienced, multidisciplinary Senior Video Editor &amp; Multimedia Producer to join our team.</p><p>This is not a traditional editing role. We are looking for a creative leader in post-production &mdash; someone who combines cinematic editing instincts with strong motion graphics, VFX, design sensibility, and fluency in emerging AI-powered creative tools.</p><p>This role will begin as a contractor position, with the opportunity to transition to full-time depending on performance and workload.</p><p>IMPORTANT: Applications that don't include an online portfolio will not be considered.</p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>You will play a key role in shaping the visual language of our clients&rsquo; brands across digital platforms. You are as comfortable executing quick-turn social content as you are crafting elevated, design-forward video pieces.</p><p>You understand that today&rsquo;s video editor is also a designer, animator, strategist, and systems thinker.</p><p>You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and creative team to bring high-level concepts to life while maintaining efficiency, organization, and technical excellence.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead the post-production process across multiple campaigns and brands</li><li>Edit compelling video content for organic social, paid digital, and web platforms</li><li>Design and execute motion graphics, animated typography, and light VFX</li><li>Resize and adapt content across all digital formats and ad products</li><li>Rapidly produce high-quality video assets for real-time and reactive moments</li><li>Ideate creative and strategic video concepts in collaboration with the Creative Director</li><li>Integrate AI tools into workflows (AI-assisted editing, generative visuals, upscaling, captioning, audio cleanup, etc.) to increase creative output and efficiency</li><li>Manage and organize footage, project files, deliverables, and asset libraries</li><li>Collaborate on pre-production planning and support production shoots as needed throughout the country</li><li>Maintain visual consistency and a high design standard across all outputs</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>5+ years of professional experience in video editing and post-production (agency experience strongly preferred)</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in film, media production, design, or related field</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop (Final Cut Pro a plus)</li><li>Strong motion graphics and animation skills</li><li>Experience with light VFX and compositing</li><li>Strong design sensibility (typography, pacing, composition, branding)</li><li>Experience leveraging AI tools within creative workflows</li><li>Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders with professionalism</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills and file management discipline</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>A striking, sophisticated, and versatile portfolio/reel that demonstrates both storytelling and design-driven work</li></ul><p><b>Who You Are</b></p><ul><li>You think beyond editing &mdash; you shape visual narratives</li><li>You are detail-obsessed but move fast</li><li>You thrive in high-performance, collaborative environments</li><li>You bring both creative vision and technical precision</li><li>You care about diversity, inclusion, and creating thoughtful content</li></ul><p>Job Types: Part-time, Contract</p><p>Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year</p><p>Work Location: Hybrid remote in New York, NY 10014</p>
