<p>The Eviction Defense Social Worker is a position in NMIC&rsquo;s Legal, Organizing, &amp; Advocacy (LOA) Department responsible for providing client-centered and compassionate crisis counseling and case management to clients of NMIC&rsquo;s Right-to-Counsel (RTC) legal unit. The social worker will provide crisis intervention, trauma-informed case management, resource coordination, and short-term stabilization planning to help clients maintain housing, address social service needs, and manage the personal impact of eviction and the eviction process. This role works collaboratively with attorneys and legal advocates to support tenants facing housing instability and eviction in New York City Housing Court.</p>
<p></p><p><b>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p>
<p><b>Client Support and Crisis Intervention</b></p>
<ul><li><p>Provide trauma-informed crisis counseling to individuals and families facing eviction and housing instability.</p>
</li><li><p>Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify client strengths, risks, and immediate needs.</p>
</li><li><p>Develop individualized service plans focused on preservation of housing and related goals.</p>

<li>Maintain the Met&rsquo;s ongoing social media calendar, working to incorporate content to support sales needs while driving engagement and audience growth. Serve as a resource and gatekeeper to other departments seeking to add content to the social schedule.</li>
<li>Community engagement and monitoring: foster engagement by responding to comments when necessary, reposting/sharing fan and artist content, directing feedback to appropriate internal teams, and reporting content that is against community guidelines.</li>
<li>Support the Director of Digital Marketing, Content Producer, and colleagues across Marketing and Editorial to coordinate social media opportunities, including opening nights, behind the scenes social, offsite outreach events etc. Edit and post content in real time as needed.</li>

As the Social Media Strategist and Community Manager Associate within Asset Management, you will help manage and execute programs across the firm's organic social media channels. Your projects will focus on activating and managing best-in-class social media experiences to maximize client engagement through the promotion of the Asset Management brand, thought leadership, and product messaging.
