Manage the Integrated Library System to ensure efficient cataloging and organization of library materials.</li><li>
Assist students in locating resources and utilizing library services effectively.</li><li>
Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment within the library.</li><li>
Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into classroom activities and curricula.</li><li>
Develop engaging programs and activities that promote reading and learning.</li><li>
Conduct regular assessments of library collections and recommend new acquisitions based on student needs.</li><li>
Provide support in classroom management during library-related activities or events.</li><li>
Stay updated on emerging learning technologies that can enhance library services.</li></ul><p><b>
Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Library Science, Education, or a related field; Master&rsquo;s degree preferred.</li><li><b>
Must have Texas Education Agency Librarian Certification</b>.</li><li>
Experience working with students in an educational setting.</li><li>
Proficiency in using Integrated Library Systems for cataloging and managing resources.</li><li>
Strong research skills with the ability to guide students through various information sources.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with students, staff, and parents.</li><li>
Familiarity with behavior management techniques to support student engagement in the library setting.</li><li>
Ability to adapt to new learning technologies and integrate them into library services.</li><li>
