POSITION SUMMARY</b><br>
The Operations Manager - BioServices role ensures all operational activities are executed accurately and timely, following specific procedures and processes defined in work instructions created by Program Managers. The responsibilities of the Operations Manager - BioServices involves overseeing all projects performed in the BioServices area for multiple commercial and government clients and assembling various types of kits and label printing. These materials are stored at ambient (room temperature) to below freezing (including cryogenic) with potentially hazardous properties. This role will also require communicating with Program Managers, scheduling work and supervising staff, writing and updating SOPs, and other project-related activities.</p><p></p><div><b>
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (</b><b><i>include but are not limited to</i></b><b>):</b><br>
<ul><li>Lead and direct the safety and quality of daily operations. What You&rsquo;ll Do (Core Responsibilities)</b></h3><p>
This role requires a team player who is willing to move between departments (such as Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Returns) based on operational needs. Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to, the following core functions:</p><ul>
<li><p><b>
Handling &amp; Movement:</b> Safely load, unload, and move large and small furniture orders and inventory of various sizes. This will involve manually lifting items up to <b>75 lbs. unassisted</b> and maneuvering/team lifting products up to 150 lbs.</p></li>
<li><div><b>
Technology &amp; Inventory:</b> Utilize <b>scanners, handheld devices (e.g., Nexus), and warehouse software</b> to accurately track, process, and update inventory and order locations across all operational stages.</div></li>
<li><div><b>
Quality &amp; Preparation:</b> Perform comprehensive quality control tasks, which may include inspecting, assembling (<i>deluxing</i>), repackaging, labeling, and sorting products to prevent damage before shipping.</div></li>
<li><p><b>
Safety &amp; Teamwork:</b> Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area (<b>5S</b>) to ensure safety and efficiency.</p></li></ul><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
What You&rsquo;ll Need</b></h3><ul><li><p><b><br>
Physical Capability:</b></p><ul><li><div><br>
The ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work a full shift (8+ hours a day) in a dynamic, non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.</div></li><li><div><br>
The ability to frequently lift and move merchandise up to <b>75+ lbs. unassisted</b>.</div></li></ul></li><li><div><br>
Able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.</div></li>
<li><div><b>
Experience (Preferred):</b> Previous warehouse, logistics, or comparable experience is preferred. A High School Diploma or GED is also preferred.</div></li>

Technical Skills:</b> Basic ability to use computers, tablets, and handheld inventory devices is essential.</p></li></ul><p></p><div><p><b><br>
