<p><b>Job Overview</b><br/>We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part-Time Nanny to provide exceptional care and support for two children ages 2.5y and 6y in a nurturing and engaging environment.</p><p>This role requires two 11.5 hour shifts with early morning start time. Hours required are 0600-5:30pm. The days required rotate every two weeks, willing to move required days around for the right person.</p><p><b>Duties</b></p><ul><li>Provide attentive supervision and care</li><li>Prepare nutritious meals and snacks</li><li>Engage children in educational activities, playtime, arts and crafts, and developmental exercises</li><li>Assist with daily routines such as diaper changing, potty training, dressing, and nap times</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light cleaning duties related to childcare area</li><li>Support children through big emotions with empathy and compassion.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, activities, and any concerns</li><li>During the school year, transport oldest child to and from school.</li></ul><p><b>Experience</b></p><ul><li>Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, nannying, or teaching roles</li><li>Knowledge of AAP guidelines for safe sleep, choking hazards, car seat usage etc.</li><li>Experience caring for toddlers with an understanding of developmental milestones</li><li>Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred</li><li>Up-to-date vaccines and annual flu vaccine required</li><li>Demonstrated ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, flexibility, and enthusiasm</li></ul><p>Pay based on experience.
