About the team: We are seeking top tier Technical Program Management (TPM) talent to lead strategic initiatives for Account Servicing. In this exciting role, you will propel us in our journey of platform modernization, future innovation and expansion of business value. You will be partnering with Executive Leaders and stakeholders across lines of businesses to drive the execution of a cohesive roadmap across multiple workstreams and lines of business to deliver results that will have a direct, significant impact on the company.
In addition to the technical program, you will also work to pave the way for an expanding TPM discipline within the team, by leveraging your industry knowledge and experience to teach the organization what a great TPM can achieve.

Strong technical backgrounds (ideally building highly scalable platforms, products, or services) with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout delivery life-cycle</li><li>

Basic Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree</li><li>
At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs</li></ul> 
Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>
7+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing</li><li>
3+ years of experience in building distributed systems &amp; highly available services using cloud computing services / architecture - preferably using AWS</li><li>
3+ years experience building highly scalable mobile products &amp; platforms</li><li>
3+ years of experience with Agile delivery</li><li>
3+ years experience delivering large and complex programs - where you own the business or technical vision, collaborate with large cross-functional teams, secure commitments on deliverables, and unblock teams to land business impact</li><li>
Experience in building systems &amp; solutions within a highly regulated environment</li><li>
Bachelor's degree or higher in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering)</li></ul>

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Director, Technical Program Management 

New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Director, Technical Program Management 
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate&rsquo;s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
