Concept:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate in the development of concept design through planning, sketching, rendering.</li>
<li>Select directional images, and finishes.</li>
<li>Review with Design Director Project Leaders, Senior Directors and/or Principals.</li></ul><br>

<b>Schematic:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Acquire and coordinate samples from vendors.</li>
<li>Formulate furniture direction.</li>
<li>Further develop concept design with sketches, thumbnails, plans and the creation of specialty finishes.</li>
<li>Refine finish selections.</li>
<li>Review with Design Director, Project Leaders, Senior Directors and/or Principals.</li></ul><br>

<b>Design Development:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Flush out and refine the approved design language into buildable drawings.</li>
<li>Assist in any information the Spec department may require.</li>
<li>Review and implement design specifications with the Spec department, re: FF&amp;E, hardware, plumbing, and architectural finishes.</li>
<li>Coordinate with outside project consultants such as lighting, MEP, Structural, Signage, kitchen consultants etc, as necessary to complete a well-coordinated project. (Only applicable for Intermediate Designer).</li>
<li>Review with Design Director, Project Leaders, Senior Directors and/or Principals.</li></ul><br>

<b>Construction Documents:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Work with Project Management in the development of specialty custom built items.</li>
<li>Assist in the development for a complete drawing package, including detailing, elevations, and plans as per Yabu Pushelberg Office Cad Standards.</li>
<li>Compilation and finalization of all FF&amp;E pieces with sufficient information to pass through to the Specification Department.</li>
<li>Assist in the development of a small drawing package including full design intent of all millwork and custom furniture as per Yabu Pushelberg Office Cad Standards.</li>
<li>Continue Coordination with outside project consultants such as lighting, MEP, Structural, Signage, kitchen consultants etc, as necessary to complete a well-coordinated project. (Only applicable for Intermediate Designer).</li>
<li>Review and implement necessary changes and additions with the Spec department, re: FF&amp;E, hardware, plumbing, and architectural finishes.</li>
<li>Review with Design Director, Project Leaders, and Project Manager.</li></ul><br>

Construction Administration:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide sufficient information when requested by the Project Management team in the development of budgets.</li>
<li>Answer vendor/contractor&rsquo;s questions.</li>
<li>Review Shop Drawings and Submittals.</li>
<li>Provide site clarifications when necessary.</li>
<li>Review with Project Manager, Design Director and Project Leaders.</li></ul><br>

Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>No work experience necessary (Junior Designer) and 2+ years of work experience necessary (Intermediate Designer).</li>
<li>At minimum an Associate&rsquo;s Degree in a related field of Design (Interior design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Fashion design, etc.).</li>
<li>Entry level knowledge (Junior Designers) and adequate knowledge (Intermediate Designer) of the Interior Design Profession.</li>
<li>AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch up and b+w hand rendering skills are necessary (Intermediate Designer) and within 3 months of starting the position (Junior Designer)</li>
<li>Additional 3D software skills are an asset.</li></ul><br>
