Under the general direction of a Senior Therapist or Supervisor, the Staff Therapist is responsible for providing standardized individual, relationship, and group psychotherapy to clients in order to promote optimum mental health. The Staff Therapist will work to address a variety of emotional and social needs of clients. The position will begin as part time with the intention of growing to a full time case load.
Duties:<ul><li>
Provides psychotherapy services to a caseload of 15-30 weekly completed sessions, including individuals and couples, 1-2 evenings/week and weekend day required, part time available</li><li>
Maintains case notes, logs and all required documentation within 24 hours of sessions held</li><li>
Participates in weekly clinical supervision</li><li>
Case management services including care coordination, including collaborating with referral sources and connecting clients to care</li><li>
10-15 minute phone consultations when requested</li><li>
Participate in marketing yourself to co-create a caseload that reflects your professional goals</li></ul>
Caseload:
At ACNY, we understand that building a caseload doesn't happen overnight. It&rsquo;s a process influenced by many factors, including client needs, clinician-specific demand, and individual performance focusing on rapport building and retention. We are always working to build our referral flows, and also ask clinician's to participate in co-building their caseloads, which will also help increase the speed of building a caseload.
