<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Position Summary
</h2>The A/R Accountant is responsible for the timely collection of rents and other tenant charges, ensuring compliance with Company policies and lease terms. This role performs account analysis, reconciliation, and supports reporting while ensuring data integrity within tenant systems. This position also identifies, resolves, or escalates tenant issues while supporting internal and external stakeholders.

</h2><ul><li>Review and analyze aged receivables reports and system information to prioritize tenant outreach.
</li><li>Conduct collection efforts on base rents and other charges for assigned tenant accounts in accordance with department policies and procedures.
</li><li>Provide responsive customer service to both tenants and internal stakeholders to ensure tenant commitments are fulfilled.
</li><li>Interpret lease language for management review to address tenant inquiries.
</li><li>Identify account issues and resolve independently or escalate to management and recommend appropriate actions for delinquent accounts such as default or litigation.
</li><li>Reconcile tenant accounts, ensuring accurate application of payments and charges using available tools and systems.

Key Accountabilities:
<ul>
<li>Handle and coordinate the office administration functions according to the instructions of the Director of Engineering and established policies and procedures</li>
<li>Provides secretarial support to Director of Engineering and extends support to the team</li>
<li>Handles and screens incoming phone calls and takes messages</li>
<li>Receives and dispatches correspondences</li>
<li>Keeps filing system in good order and up-to-date</li>
<li>Relays R&amp;M orders from other departments</li>
<li>Prepares monthly utilities reports for submission to management of the Hotel</li>
<li>Performs other duties assigned by the Director of Engineering as well as with own initiative</li>
<li>Adheres to all house rules, fire regulations, departmental policies and procedures</li></ul> 


General Requirements:
<ul>
<li>2 years of coordination experience in a luxury property ideal</li>
<li>Knowledge of Microsoft systems and engineering preferred</li>
<li>Ability to deal with a high level of work demand and pressure, individual must have great organization skills</li>
<li>Excellent command of written and spoken English</li></ul>
