<p>The Accounts Payable Specialist will process invoices and check requests, administer the accounts payable system, and support the Accounts Payable team to ensure invoices are paid accurately and on time.</p>

<ul><li>High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience preferred.</li>

<li>Experience with accounting and report writing software.</li>

<p>Thompson Hine LLP, an Am Law 200 firm regularly recognized for our commitment to Innovation and Inclusion, is seeking a full-time <b>Legal Talent Specialist </b>in our <b>Chicago, Illinois</b> office.</p><p>The Legal Talent Specialist will be an integral member of the Talent Management team and will work closely with managers of legal recruiting to perform day-to-day recruiting functions for assigned firm offices.</p><p><b>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p><p><b>Legal Recruiting</b></p><ul><li>Serve as a lead to the recruiting coordinators and conduct periodic training on internal processes.</li><li>Coordinates candidate interviews, makes travel arrangements, circulates interview schedules, and assists with the collection of evaluations/feedback for partner and non-partner candidates.</li><li>Draft offer letters for employed lawyer candidates for assigned markets.</li><li>Submit partner and employed lawyer candidate diligence for review and analysis.</li><li>Prepare and send lawyer offer materials.</li><li>Draft welcome emails, manuals and other documents, as needed.</li><li>Maintain/populate all candidates&rsquo; electronic recruiting files, and files in viRecruit, including updating applicant information, uploading resumes, candidate status tracking, generating reports, and candidate maintenance.</li><li>Handle data entry in Red Carpet, including entering and updating candidate information and managing throughout the onboarding process.</li><li>Create Employment Status Publications (&ldquo;ESP&rdquo;s) for new attorney hires.</li><li>Coordinates orientation schedules for new attorney hires.</li><li>Assists the Senior Law School Recruiting Manager with aspects of the On-Campus Interviewing Program &ldquo;OCI&rdquo; and Summer Program.</li></ul><p><b>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>Attend Talent Management team meetings.</li><li>Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.</li><li>Maintain and update the Legal Talent Coordinator training manual.</li></ul><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b></p><p><b>Education, Training, and/or Experience</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree required.</li><li>Three years of law firm recruiting experience and four total years of administrative experience.</li></ul><p><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></p><ul><li>Growth mindset to enhance emotional intelligence, empathy and an understanding of inclusion and belonging practices that support managing and collaborating across differences.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.</li><li>Impeccable attention to detail.</li><li>Experience working with viDesktop or a similar web-based applicant tracking system is required.</li><li>Desire and willingness to be proactive.</li><li>Strong computer skills required. Including spreadsheet and database experience; advanced functions of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.</li><li>Willingness and ability to assist other department employees as needed.</li><li>This position constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery (e.g., copiers, printers, etc.).</li><li>Excellent customer service skills.</li><li>This position requires the employee to work at a specified location and hours determined by the Manager for the benefit of the department and firm. Changes to the location and/or scheduled hours must be approved by the Manager.</li></ul><p>Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting salary range for this position is $73,000 to $100,000.</p><p>This position is eligible to participate in a hybrid remote/in-office schedule.
