</p><p>As a <b>Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch Operator</b> in <b>New York, NY</b>, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

How This Role Works:</b>
</p><ul><li><b>Fixed-Shift Commitment (&ldquo;Anchor Shifts&quot;):</b> You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.</li>
<li><b>Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:</b> In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.</li></ul><p>
This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b>
</p><ul><li>Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.</li>
<li>Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls for service, and coordinate the timely assignment of personnel to incidents, routine requests, and/or priority situations.</li>
<li>Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command and maintaining clear communication with site contacts and field personnel.</li>
<li>Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, helping to support accurate documentation of security-related events, alarms, access issues, and/or after-hours activities.</li>
<li>Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by location.</li></ul><p><b>
Minimum Requirements:</b>
</p><ul><li>A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.</li>
<li>Applicants must be 21+ years of age.</li>
<li>Customer service experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.</li>
<li>A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.</li>
<li>Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.</li>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.</li>
<li>Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.</li>
<li>As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.</li>
<li>Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.</li>
