 The Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECEN) Program of Texas A&amp;M University at Qatar invites applications for a full-time academic professional track (non-tenure) position in the area of computer engineering. Applicants will be considered for the faculty titles of Instructional Assistant Professor or Instructional Associate Professor, depending on qualifications.
 
 
 This non-tenure track position assumes a 9-month academic appointment with anticipated start date Summer or Fall 2024. The 9-month appointment includes a 3-3 teaching load during Fall-Spring semesters. The successful applicant will also be expected to teach two courses during the summer semester for an additional 3 months of salary. The applicant's primary responsibility will be teaching courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering. The position is in the areas of robotics and autonomous systems, with preference given to candidates with expertise in emerging technologies with novel theoretical developments and practical applications, such as industrial robotics; control, autonomous systems; intelligent robotics for exploration, manufacturing, and construction; advanced sensor and actuation technologies; mechatronics and human-machine interaction and applications of artificial intelligence to robotics and autonomous systems. Faculty at Texas A&amp;M University Qatar Campus (TAMUQ) are of two types: instructional track and research track. This position is a research-track position at the assistant level. The official title for this position is Research Assistant Professor, with the working title of Engineering Assistant Professor. Research-track faculty at TAMUQ are expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses and develop an independent research program, as well as to engage through scholarship within the university and their discipline.
 
 
 This non-tenure track position assumes a 9-month academic appointment with an anticipated start date of Spring 2024 or Fall 2024, depending on the applicant's availability. The hired faculty member is eligible to receive a startup package that covers the summer salary for three years.
