MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:</h1>
Content Development and Scheduling<ul><li>
Develop and manage an editorial calendar aligned with district initiatives, events, and key messaging</li><li>
Create and schedule content to promote district priorities, programs, student and staff achievements, and community engagement</li><li>
Produce short-form videos, Instagram/Facebook stories, and branded graphics to support digital storytelling</li></ul> 
Engagement and Monitoring<ul><li>
Monitor all official Spring ISD social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and community feedback in a timely and professional manner</li><li>
Track social media conversations and competitor activity to identify opportunities and trends</li><li>
Host regular meetings with campus social media managers and ambassadors to strengthen the district&rsquo;s collective digital presence</li></ul> 
Strategy and Analytics<ul><li>
Analyze performance metrics to inform content strategy and improve audience engagement</li><li>
Stay current with platform updates, social media trends, and digital marketing best practices</li><li>
Apply SEO principles to enhance the visibility and reach of content on digital platforms</li></ul> 
Collaboration and Campaign Support<ul><li>
Collaborate with campuses and departments to support storytelling and content development</li><li>
Coordinate with the Communications team to ensure social media content aligns with brand standards and district values</li><li>
Support the production of district newsletters, including leading the &ldquo;Five Good Things&rdquo; newsletter and managing the &ldquo;Spring Scoop&rdquo;</li></ul> 
Event Support and Media Capture<ul><li>
Capture photos and videos at district and campus events using mobile devices for real-time publishing</li><li>
Provide event coverage during evenings and weekends, as needed</li></ul> 
Other Duties<ul><li>
Support additional communications projects, including digital marketing materials and internal campaigns</li><li>
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Communications</li></ul> 
WORKING CONDITIONS: 
Physical Demands / Environmental Factors: 
The usual and customary methods of performing the job&rsquo;s functions require the following physical demands: physical mobility, prolonged sitting, frequent use of computer, occasional standing, and lifting or carrying up to 15 pounds. This position requires regular on-site event coverage, including occasional irregular hours (evenings and weekends), and the ability to work independently. 
Mental Demands: 
Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, solve problems creatively, interpret and analyze digital data, and maintain emotional control under stress. Must be adaptable and responsive in a dynamic digital environment with frequent interruptions.
